About the Role
This is a high-ownership, builder role for a senior marketing leader who can operate both strategically and hands-on. You'll be responsible for crafting and executing a brand strategy that drives client acquisition, nurtures retention, and positions TeamFicient as the premier VA agency for SMBs across the United States. You'll report directly to the CEO and have full visibility at the executive level.
Core Responsibilities
Brand Strategy and Positioning
Define and evolve TeamFicient's brand identity, voice, and visual standards across all channels
Position TeamFicient as the go-to remote staffing partner for healthcare, driving schools, and SMB clients
Own the brand narrative and ensure messaging consistency from awareness through retention
Demand Generation and Revenue Growth
Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive qualified inbound leads
Build and manage the full marketing funnel in partnership with the Sales team
Set and own MQLs, pipeline contribution, and CAC targets in alignment with revenue goals
Digital Marketing and Content
Oversee SEO/SEM, paid social, email marketing, and content strategy
Lead the production of thought leadership content that builds trust with target clients
Manage the company website, landing pages, and conversion optimization efforts
Client Lifecycle and Retention Marketing
Develop programs that deepen relationships with existing clients and reduce churn
Partner with Account Management to identify upsell and cross-sell marketing opportunities
Build client communication cadences, success stories, and case study programs
Analytics, Reporting and AI-Enabled Marketing
Establish marketing KPIs and create dashboards for transparent performance reporting
Leverage AI tools and automation to scale content production and campaign efficiency
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insight programs
Leadership and Team Building
Hire, develop, and lead a lean marketing team of internal staff and VA talent
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and the CEO on growth initiatives
Serve as a key member of the leadership team with executive-level presentation responsibilities
Candidate Qualifications
Must-Haves
8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with 3+ years in a senior marketing leadership role
Proven track record driving revenue growth through brand, demand generation, and digital marketing
Hands-on experience with SEO/SEM, paid social, email automation, and CRM platforms
Strong data literacy, comfortable owning KPIs, dashboards, and ROI reporting
Experience building or scaling a marketing function at a startup or growing SMB
Excellent communicator with executive-level presence and storytelling ability

Good to Haves
Background in B2B services, staffing, HR tech, or SaaS industries
Experience marketing to healthcare, education, or professional services verticals
Proficiency with AI marketing tools such as Jasper, HubSpot AI, or ChatGPT workflows
Bilingual in English and Spanish, or experience marketing to bilingual audiences
MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Knowledge of employer branding and talent acquisition marketing
