About Credo AI

Credo AI is a venture-backed company on a mission to empower organizations to responsibly build, adopt, procure and use AI at scale.  Credo AI has built a pioneering platform for context-driven AI governance, AI risk assessment and compliance (to regulations like the EU AI Act and standards like NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001 etc) to ensure compliant, fair, and auditable development and use of AI. Our goal is to move responsible AI development from an “ethical” choice to an obvious one-by ensuring AI’s benefits are universally accessible while addressing the full spectrum of its risks. We aim to do this both by making it easier for organizations to integrate  responsible AI Governance  practices into their AI development and by collaborating with regulators/policymakers to set up appropriate ecosystem incentives. Founded in 2020, Credo AI has been recognized as a one of the Most Innovative Companies of 2024 by Fast Company, a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, named to the CBInsights' AI 100 List and World's Most Promising Startups list, and included in Fast Company’s Next Big Thing in Tech and Intelligent Applications Top 40 by Madrona, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft and Pitchbook.

What we are looking for

We're looking for a Head of Marketing to help us scale revenue, expand our enterprise footprint, and own the AI governance category we’ve created. What you’ll build and lead Go-To-Market Acceleration

  • Drive marketing-sourced pipeline growth with precision-targeted demand gen and account-based marketing (ABM).

  • Partner with Sales and Product to shape GTM motions that drive conversion across complex enterprise cycles.

  • Provide Sales with enablement materials, including but not limited first call decks, product & services one-pagers, and competitive battle cards.

  • Own forecasting, pipeline attribution, CAC/LTV modeling, and marketing performance dashboards.

Category Leadership & Brand

  • Evolve and scale Credo AI’s narrative as the leader in AI governance.

  • Amplify the voice of our founders, customers, and ecosystem through world-class thought leadership.

  • Own brand integrity and expansion across digital, media, analyst, and field channels.

 Product & Partner Marketing

  • Translate a deeply technical product into clear, compelling messaging for enterprise stakeholders (AI, Legal, Risk, IT).

  • Work with Sales, Product & Advisory to build clear messaging and sales enablement materials around Credo AI’s product offerings, Advisory services, offering, value & industry best subject matter expertise

  • Build and execute co-marketing programs with global partners to reach best-fit customers.

  • Develop enablement content and tools that empower Sales to win consistently.

 Team & Culture

  • Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team (content, demand gen, comms, ops, PMM).

  • Foster a culture of experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and shared ownership of GTM outcomes.

  • Operate with high empathy and influence across Sales, Product, and CS.

Expertise and experience in

  • 10+ years in B2B enterprise SaaS marketing, including early-stage startup experience.

  • Strong AI fluency or a deep desire and ability to ramp up quickly in emerging technologies like foundation models, LLMs, and agents.

  • Proven ability to scale marketing from Series A to Series B/C in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.

  • Proven ability to market advisory services (stand alone) or advisory services leading to platform conversion.

  • Adept at navigating ambiguity, building systems from scratch, and scaling what works.

  • Data driven and outcome oriented- Skilled at marketing analytics, revenue forecasting, and attribution modeling.

  • Proven success partnering with Sales, Product, Advisory and CS to drive unified messaging, campaigns, and customer journeys.

  • Passionate about sales enablement, persona research, and closing the gap between strategy and execution.

  • Relentless focus on targeting best-fit customers who drive long-term value and retention.

  • Fluent in the voice of customer research and competitor analysis, and how to apply both to go-to-market motion.

  • You thrive in the messiness of building something new—and you know how to set up for scale without over-engineering.

  • You roll up your sleeves as easily as you think big, and have a growth mindset to be able to learn from others in the company.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
