Devoted Studios is a globally remote development company specializing in Co-development, Porting, and End-to-End Art Production for the global gaming industry.

We collaborate across time zones to support projects on all major platforms, engines and styles - from AAA titles to emerging technologies. Our team includes world-class talents who bring deep expertise in external development, pipeline optimization, and creative problem-solving. Whether it’s porting games to new systems, enhancing gameplay features, or crafting stunning visuals, Devoted Studios operates as a trusted, flexible extension of our partners’ internal teams. We are proud to be the development partner of choice for industry leaders such as:

  • Epic
  • Xbox
  • Meta
  • Obsidian Entertainment
  • Riot
  • Gearbox Software

Devoted Studios has one of the strongest brand presences in the GameDev industry. We are looking for a senior marketing leader — someone with deep industry experience, genuine creative taste, and the operational discipline to run a high-performing business function. Someone who becomes a true business partner to the founder: raising the bar on what we already do well, keeping everything tightly connected to what actually matters for the business, and building the automation infrastructure that lets us move faster without adding noise.

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes automation. A systems operator. Someone who sees inefficiency and removes it. Who builds infrastructure instead of adding headcount. Who leverages AI, workflows, and data to create leverage at scale.

This is a high-expectation role for a high-output leader. If you think in terms of systems, performance, and compounding advantage, you’ll thrive here.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Oversight & Production Alignment:

We have a social media team. What we don't always have is tight connective tissue between what they publish and what's actually happening across the business. That's what this role fixes.

  • Ensure social content reflects real production capacity and upcoming milestones
  • Own the connection between production updates and what goes public, nothing falls through the gap
  • Coordinate directly with clients on material approvals and IP permissions
  • Enforce a zero-tolerance standard on publishing anything not properly cleared
  • Keep sales informed and ensure marketing is actively supporting capacity visibility

AI & Automation:

This is the core of how we expect marketing to evolve. Not a project. Not a pilot. A permanent shift in how the team operates.

  • Design and deploy AI-powered workflows — n8n, Make, or equivalent
  • Automate content repurposing across podcast, social, email, and blog
  • Build dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility without manual reporting
  • Automate production-to-marketing handoffs and client approval tracking
  • Systematically identify and eliminate manual processes from the marketing function

Team Leadership & Accountability:

You will lead a team of experienced marketing professionals and take full ownership of how they deliver. The founder should never have to chase an update or wonder what the team is working on.

  • Set clear priorities, run tight delivery cadences, and hold the team to them
  • Provide weekly reporting to the founder — short, clear, numbers-driven
  • Manage contractors, agencies, and external vendors
  • Oversee website, brand assets, decks, client materials, and merch
  • Oversee community management in coordination with community leads
  • Manage onboarding for new team members and contractors

Devoted Speakeasy Podcast:

Devoted Speakeasy is one of the industry's most respected voices in GameDev. It has a loyal audience and a strong identity. Your job is to protect that and keep it sharp, not to turn it into a marketing funnel.

  • Maintain editorial quality and brand consistency
  • Oversee guest pipeline and production cadence
  • Ensure podcast content gets properly amplified across other channels
  • Keep the tone and positioning true to what makes Speakeasy worth listening to

Brand & Strategic Direction:

Across everything, social, podcast, website, events, client materials, you are the guardian of the Devoted brand. High quality, consistent voice, and a clear sense of where we're going.

  • Evolve brand positioning in line with business growth
  • Maintain quality standards across all external-facing touchpoints
  • Support conference presence, merch, and partnership materials
  • Contribute strategic thinking on where marketing can create real business impact

Requirements
  • 10+ years in marketing, with meaningful time leading teams
  • You've worked closely with founders or senior leadership as a true business partner
  • Strong brand instinct, you know what's on-brand, what isn't, and why it matters
  • Highly structured and delivery-focused without being bureaucratic
  • Comfortable being direct, with your team, with clients, with leadership
  • Deep hands-on experience with AI and automation tools (n8n preferred)
  • Solid grasp of analytics, dashboards, and performance reporting
  • Experience managing paid channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) and SEO basics
  • Proven at managing external contractors and agencies

Nice to Have:

  • Background in GameDev, art production, or the broader creative industry
  • Experience with B2B marketplaces or talent platforms
  • Email marketing platform experience (Mailchimp, GetResponse, or similar)

What Success Looks Like:

  • Social is always accurate, timely, and connected to what's actually happening in the business
  • AI and automation have meaningfully increased output and reduced manual work
  • Leadership has full visibility without asking for it
  • The team delivers with discipline and the founder trusts the function completely
  • The Devoted brand continues to grow in influence and quality

Benefits

We offer:

  • Strong and enthusiastic team – you will have the opportunity for knowledge sharing, learning, and professional self-development
  • Interesting and challenging tasks – solve diverse and challenging issues, communicate with people within the company as well as with our partners;
  • Convenient working conditions – remote work, the opportunity to build your own working day with flexible working hours
  • А chance to work in a highly professional and dynamic team working with a wide range of International Game Production projects, attractive remuneration package, and opportunities to develop professionally.

This is a remote, full-time contracted position.

We are an equal opportunity company and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for a contract without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
