About Wander

Wander pioneered the “hotelification” of vacation rentals – combining the quality of a luxury hotel with the comfort of a private vacation home. Now we’re taking our verticalized travel experience guests love global with an end-to-end travel platform for trips, experiences and concierge service.

Role summary

Wander is revolutionizing travel with a platform of high-quality vacation homes with hotel-grade amenities. As we scale, we're searching for a world-class Head of Launch to build and lead a cross-functional business unit focused on getting new homes from signed to live—faster, better, and more consistently. This is a high-impact leadership role with immense leverage.

What you’ll own
  • End-to-end ownership of the launch funnel: From the moment a new home is signed, you’ll be responsible for getting it live on Wander and working with a cross-functional team including marketing, operations and product to build a world-class launch machine.

  • Velocity, quality, and cost optimization: Ensure new homes are launched on or ahead of schedule, up to brand standards, and within budget. Drive consistent improvements in the launch process to accelerate velocity over time and reduce launch-related costs.

  • Cross-functional orchestration: Collaborate with teams across operations, design, product, and engineering to align on priorities, unblock issues, and execute against aggressive launch targets. Create new tools for owners to self-onboard faster and software that makes launching new locations easier.

  • Playbook development and refinement: Take our existing launch process and turn it into a scalable, repeatable process for launching homes at Wander standards that can scale to hundreds and eventually thousands of locations launched per month and set these properties and their owners up for success on the Wander platform.

  • Team leadership and scaling: Manage and develop a high-performing team across functions that includes owner relations, marketing, and launch operations. Share data and key metrics with the rest of the leadership team and make sure the business unit is resourced properly for success.

You’ll be a great fit if you:
  • Have 7+ years of experience in operations, logistics, project management, or related fields, ideally in high-growth or startup environment.

  • Are a builder at heart—comfortable creating structure where there is none and iterating rapidly based on data and feedback.

  • Know how to get things over the finish line. You move fast, break through blockers, and take ownership of outcomes.

  • Understand how to assess and prioritize launch opportunities based on revenue and GMV potential, ensuring effort is aligned with business impact.

  • Be good at taking data and turning it into insight and action.

  • Have exceptional operational intuition. You spot inefficiencies instinctively and can design systems to solve them at scale.

  • Are an inspiring leader who can rally diverse teams around a common mission and drive accountability with empathy.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive salary and equity package

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Remote-first culture

  • $1,000 annual travel stipend to experience Wander properties

Location & Reporting
  • Remote – U.S. (Some overlap with Pacific Time preferred)

  • Reports to CMO and joins the leadership team

Why join Wander?

This is an opportunity to join Wander at a pivotal moment—when your impact on our operational infrastructure, customer experience, and long-term success will be outsized. You’ll help define what it means to launch a Wander home. You’ll work with a high-caliber team of doers and dreamers. And you’ll help shape the future of travel.
