Head of Industry Field and Demand Generation Marketing
Why We Have this Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Industry Field and Demand Generation Marketing to lead our industry-focused marketing efforts in the US, with particular emphasis on regulated industries including Public Sector, Financial Services, and Healthcare. In this critical leadership and people management role, you will own our industry demand generation Public Sector strategy and execution while managing a team of Field Marketing Managers covering Federal Government, State & Local Government, Education, Healthcare, and Financial Services sectors. Your leadership will be vital in driving our growth and establishing Qualtrics as a trusted partner in these highly regulated environments.

- Develop and implement comprehensive field marketing and demand generation strategies that effectively drive pipeline growth and enhance market penetration in regulated industries.
- Utilize your expertise in B2B SaaS industry field marketing to create targeted approaches that address the unique challenges faced by the Public Sector, Financial Services, and Healthcare sectors.
- Lead your team to successfully execute industry demand generation campaigns that position Qualtrics as the experience management leader in specialized markets.
- Foster strong collaboration with sales leadership to ensure field marketing efforts align with business objectives and accelerate sales cycles.
- Continuously analyze performance metrics and market trends to refine strategies and enhance the overall effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
How You’ll Grow
In this role, you will manage and mentor a team of 3 Field Marketing Managers, providing strategic direction, professional development, and performance management. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, analysts, and partners to enhance Qualtrics' presence in regulated markets.
Things You’ll Do
- Lead the development and execution of industry-specific field marketing strategies for regulated industries, focusing particularly on the Public Sector (Government, SLG, Education), as well as Healthcare and Financial Services.
- Partner with regulated industries sales leadership to develop and execute field marketing plans that drive pipeline generation and accelerate sales cycles within target industries.
- Provide requirements to the integrated marketing and product marketing teams to support the creation and execution of industry-specific campaigns and content that effectively communicate Qualtrics' value propositions to target audiences.
- Plan and execute third-party and hosted industry-specific events and programs.
- Develop deep understanding of industry-specific challenges, buying processes, and regulatory requirements to inform marketing strategies and messaging.
- Collaborate with product marketing to ensure industry-specific messaging and positioning resonates with target audiences and addresses their unique needs.
- Leverage reporting and insights to track program effectiveness, ROI, and impact on pipeline and revenue across industry segments.
- Work cross-functionally with digital marketing, content, and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and integrated campaign execution for your audiences.
- Manage and optimize budget allocation across industry marketing initiatives to maximize impact and ROI.
What We’re Looking for on Your Resume
- 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B field marketing, demand generation, or related roles, with at least 5 years focused on regulated industries, particularly Public Sector.
- 3+ years of people management experience, with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing marketing teams.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing field marketing strategies that drive pipeline and revenue growth in B2B SaaS environments.
- Deep understanding of the unique challenges, buying processes, and regulatory requirements in Public Sector, Healthcare, and/or Financial Services industries.
- Strong track record of collaborating effectively with sales teams to develop and implement integrated go-to-market strategies.
- Experience managing complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns from conception to execution and measurement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build relationships across the organization.
- Proven analytical abilities with experience using data to inform marketing strategies, measure performance, and demonstrate ROI.
