About The Role
As a foundational member of the Human Resources team at Mochi Health, you will be instrumental in defining protocols, procedures and structure as the company goes through a massive transformation - with the goal of doubling our core headcount over the next year. Define company policy, research and illuminate strategy around compensation, orchestrate top tier benefits packages and help guide the company's culture collaborating closely with the executive leadership team along the way.
What You’ll Do
- Define, expand and facilitate employee trainings
- Calculate, validate and process employee payroll
- Research, vet and implement compelling benefits offerings
- Collaborate with executive team members to define compensation bands
- Be ultimately responsible for corporate compliance (Workers Compensation, Unemployment Insurance, and related operations)
- Process standard annual and quarterly corporate filings
- Build, grow and strengthen company culture and brand
- Manage and optimize the employee lifecycle - from onboarding to off-boarding
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in HR, Operations, or similar field
- Comfortability dealing with nationwide employment law (Must be familiar with California)
- Familiarity with HRIS Software (BambooHR, Rippling, Deel or Similar)
- Flexible and dynamic leader
- Strong attention to detail
- Bonus for familiarity with HIPAA regulations

The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000, in addition to equity benefits. The salary range listed in each job posting represents the minimum and maximum targets for new hire salaries across all locations. Actual compensation within this range is determined by various factors, such as job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and location.
