Head of Growth

About Montauk Capital

Montauk Capital is an investment management platform that spans venture investing and venture studio efforts, building and investing in category leading companies. We focus on backing tech companies in the ‘Electron Economy,’ the massive shift toward software-enabled industrial and energy systems. This generational transition is reshaping how we power intelligence, move people and goods, and build resilient industries. From AI, data centers and Web3 to industrial robotics and re-shoring supply chains, the future of growth is built on electrification and the intelligent use of energy.

About Stealth Grid Co

Stealth Grid Co is an emerging venture currently in development through Montauk Capital’s venture studio, targeting one of the most pressing bottlenecks in energy: grid interconnection. As utilities modernize the grid and address interconnection queue bottlenecks, maintaining system stability has become increasingly complex. Grid planners and operators face a convergence of stressors from the adoption of inverter-based, variable renewable generation and the emergence of large, fast-acting point loads, such as AI data centers, that introduce new forms of system planning and operational risk. The growing presence of concentrated, voltage-sensitive loads raises specific challenges to grid network stability, further increasing the cost and timelines to interconnect these large scale dynamic loads to the grid in a way that mitigates these risks, and heightening the need to optimize the engineering, modeling and studies of these interconnections.

Stealth Grid Co proprietary platform and turnkey solution enable faster, lower-cost grid connections for large dynamic loads, including data centers, hyperscalers, renewable generation, and large industrial loads.
