The Head of Creator Partnerships will build and scale a high-performing paid creator network that drives brand awareness and consistently produces on-brand, high-leverage content we can repurpose across organic, paid, and retail channels.

This is not a traditional influencer marketing role.

This is a strategic acquisition role focused on:

  • Awareness at scale
  • Content ownership
  • Performance efficiency

You will architect and manage a creator engine, not send product for free and hope for posts.

Core Responsibilities1. Creator Sourcing & Activation
  • Continuously identify, vet, and activate creators aligned with our brand voice, ICP, and aesthetic
  • Prioritize quality alignment over follower count
  • Develop a repeatable sourcing framework
  • Build a bench of creators across:
    • Wellness
    • Midlife women
    • ADHD / focus communities
    • Fitness & outdoors
    • Thoughtful lifestyle

This is not random influencer outreach.
This is curated talent strategy.

2. Deal Structuring & Negotiation

Own all partnership deal flow, including:

  • Rate negotiation
  • Usage rights (organic + paid)
  • Whitelisting
  • Co-post agreements
  • Content licensing windows

Optimize for:

  • Low CPV
  • Strong reach
  • Content ownership
  • Efficient cost per asset

You will think like an investor allocating capital, not a coordinator sending emails.

3. Creator Pipeline Management

Design and operate the system.

Track:

  • Who’s in sourcing
  • Who’s negotiating
  • Who’s live
  • Who’s renewing
  • Who’s outperforming
  • Who’s being sunset

Build dashboards that show:

  • Cost per creator
  • Cost per asset
  • Cost per view
  • Organic reach
  • Engagement quality
  • Content reuse performance

Turn creator partnerships into an engine, not a campaign.

What This Role Is Not
  • Not a gifting coordinator
  • Not a junior influencer manager
  • Not a purely brand partnership / PR role
  • Not an affiliate manager

This is awareness + scalable content acquisition.

What Success Looks Like (90 days)
  • A structured, tiered creator network
  • Predictable monthly creator activation cadence
  • 5–10 repeat high-performing creator partners
  • Owned content library fueling paid + organic
  • Measurable reduction in creative production costs
  • Strong organic lift from co-posting strategy

RequirementsIdeal Candidate Profile
  • 5+ years in influencer / creator partnerships
  • Strong negotiation instincts
  • Deep understanding of content economics
  • Knows how to structure win-win creator deals
  • Data-comfortable and commercially minded
  • Taste-driven with strong brand intuition
  • Operates with urgency and ownership
Bonus If
  • You’ve built a creator program from scratch
  • You’ve worked in DTC or CPG
  • You understand performance marketing creative needs
  • You’ve negotiated whitelisting at scale
Why This Role Matters

We believe creator partnerships are not just a marketing channel. They are a modern distribution system for trust. This role will build the trust engine.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
