By reinventing technology that reimagines what’s possible in philanthropy, we’re defining the future of fundraising and donor engagement. Our intelligent, AI-powered platforms are proven to inspire, engage, and retain donors like never before. As we grow, we're looking for a gifted storyteller and Head of Creative to lead and elevate the visual and brand expression of our company across all touchpoints.

The Role

  • Creative Strategy & Execution: Concept, develop, and execute high-impact outputs that bring our brand to life and engage key audiences, including nonprofits, donors, and industry partners.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with marketing, product, engineering, and leadership teams to bring creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Content & Storytelling: Shape narratives that inspire action—from regular video series to one-pagers, web content, social media campaigns, and more.
  • Design Ops: Establish scalable design systems, brand guidelines, and templates that non-creatives can follow and use in their everyday workflow to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in creative leadership, preferably in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual design, video production, brand development, and cross-channel campaign execution.
  • Experience building and scaling brand systems and creative processes.
  • Strong understanding of digital and product design principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—you can clearly articulate your vision and inspire teams.
  • Passion for mission-driven work; experience in philanthropy, nonprofit, or SaaS is a plus.
  • Comfortable operating in a remote, fast-paced startup environment.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
