THE COMPANY

At Builder Prime, we’re revolutionizing the home improvement industry by doing more than just building software—we're giving hardworking contractors their time and freedom back. Our all-in-one business management solution is the essential platform for companies at their "level-up" moment, seamlessly integrating CRM, estimating, production management, payments, and reporting. By replacing disjointed tools with a unified data and automation foundation, we empower businesses to operate more efficiently, win more jobs, and achieve their growth goals. We look for collaborative and community-oriented team members who bring initiative and curiosity to the challenge of solving problems for our customers.

Builder Prime is backed by Blueprint Equity and is an AI-forward company. That means every employee is expected to use AI on real problems—not hypotheticals, not demos, but the actual work on their desk. We invest in tools, training, and time for our team to experiment and share what they learn. We’re not waiting on the sidelines, and we don’t have it all figured out. We’re building this practice alongside our team, in the open.

We look for collaborative, community-oriented team members who bring initiative, curiosity, and a genuine interest in figuring out how AI can make their work and their customers’ outcomes better.

THE ROLE

This is a remote position open to candidates authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship, who presently reside in the US. There is a preference for candidates in states where we already have Builder Prime employees; California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin. Builder Prime has an office in the greater Denver metro area (Westminster) that some of the sales team works out of.

We are seeking a Head of Content Marketing to own Builder Prime's content engine. This is a high-output, high-ownership IC role for someone who thrives on building repeatable systems, executing across channels, and driving measurable results.

THE DAY-TO-DAY
  • Content Engine and Calendar: Own the content calendar, the publishing rhythm, and the content strategy across every channel, producing content that spans the full lifecycle from prospect to lead to customer to retention. Together with PMM, Solutions/Enablement, & CX Knowledge, this person turns launches, partnerships, and brand moments, including event and demand gen needs, into a steady, proactive flow of content rather than one-off scrambles. This includes building repeatable, low-friction content models and automating the rinse-and-repeat work with AI.

  • Social and Brand Voice: Run Builder Prime's social presence and make it louder, more entertaining, and unmistakably built for contractors. Lead with short-form video and reels over Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and write in a voice that is brash but not crass. This role sets the tone and consistently shows up where our audience actually is.

  • Lifecycle and Email Strategy: Audit our sales and marketing email sequences end-to-end, then own the strategy and content for new and reworked sequences in partnership with marketing ops. Map the right message to the right stage across prospect, lead, customer, and retention. Strategy and copy live here, while the technical send stays with marketing ops.

  • Sales and CX Content: Coordinate with the Solutions and Engagement Director and the Senior CX Knowledge & Content Lead to ensure sales enablement and customer experience content aligns with the overall company content strategy. Make sure prospects, new customers, and existing customers each get the right material at the right moment, from pitch support through onboarding, adoption, and expansion. This person ensures Sales, CX, and Marketing are all producing content that aligns in vision, tone, brand, and narrative.

THE MUST-HAVES
  • 8+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably at a high-growth company.

  • Strong business acumen, highly analytical and data-driven, with experience in driving toward ROI on partnership initiatives (goal and KPI-driven mindset).

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, can prioritize a dynamic workload, and successfully handle multiple deadlines with a busy schedule.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment - move quickly, think strategically, identify opportunities, and excel at tactical execution.

  • Adept at using Google Suite, Slack, and CRM software.

  • Self-starter. You can work on multiple projects with many stakeholders at the same time. You take ownership, sweat the details, and see projects through to the end with little/no support needed.

  • Familiarity with marketing funnel and pipeline performance metrics.

  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for company events, trade shows, and team offsites.

  • Comfortable using AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) as part of your day-to-day work — not just for occasional tasks, but as a regular part of how you get things done.

  • Able to apply good judgment about when AI output should be reviewed, refined, or set aside. You understand that AI accelerates work; humans own the outcome.

  • Curious about how AI could reshape your role and willing to experiment, share what you learn, and contribute to how we build these practices as a company.

THE NICE-TO-HAVES
  • Knowledge or experience in SaaS and the home improvement industry.

  • Strong understanding of business management CRM software and its application in improving business processes.

  • Experience building or refining AI workflows, prompts, or automations in a professional context.

  • Early-stage start-up (series A/B) experience

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
