THE OPPORTUNITY

This role is responsible for the oversight of all end market coverage related to the consumer electronics sector including the data models supporting our analysis as well as lead a team of analysts. The role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the consumer electronics industry, strong leadership skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

The individual in this role also guides and manages the lifecycle of new products or feature enhancements. They conduct research and develop a good understanding of the customer's needs, new technologies, market trends, and competitors. They participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and integration of products and introducing products to the market.

This role involves coordination with various departments, and acting as the lead evangelist with Sales. The focus is also on building and maintaining the core team’s energy as well as developing organizational understanding, trust and cooperation and then translating broad vision and goals into actionable plans to ensure successful product deliver.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Thought Leadership

  • Lead the development and creation of all data models to support our automotive market analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients and prospects, effectively communicating complex data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of data models with overall company objectives.
Commercial Support
  • Hold accountability for practice renewal rates measured as total AVAC
  • Work with the sales team to develop prospects and maintain and develop client relationships.
  • Attend client events and industry events to support sales and client relationship development, requiring strong presentation skills.
  • Train sales team on product coverage and value proposition.
Team Leadership
  • Hold accountability for staff retention among your direct team and adherence to their published research agenda.
  • Manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the consumer electronics practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality insights and analysis as promised via the ongoing maintenance of a respective research agenda.
Product Leadership
  • Identify New Products: Utilize current and future data sets across TechInsights to identify new product opportunities.
  • Determine Market Opportunity: Define market opportunities with clearly identified target prospects and obtain Go/No Go decisions from Segment Leads and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Drive Adoption: Further the transformation of market analysis by rolling out new products.
