About the Role
Your North Star: Lead a team to execute our strategy for building and sustaining robust partnerships with healthcare benefit brokers and consultants.
This role is crucial for amplifying Lyra’s market visibility, driving growth, and increasing revenue through these essential channels. As an integral member of the Go-To-Market (GTM) team, you will be instrumental in shaping Lyra’s brand, fostering strategic relationships, and achieving ambitious growth objectives.
In this role, you will empower a team to build and strengthen connections between the consultant community and Lyra. This ensures partner insights and feedback directly inform our strategies and initiatives, driving revenue expansion. You will own cross-functional collaborations with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal and Marketing teams. Your responsibilities include aligning partnership efforts with broader business goals, identifying opportunities for expansion, and addressing challenges to deliver exceptional value to our customers. Your ability in fostering and cultivating resilient, mutually advantageous relationships will be vital to propelling Lyra’s ambitious growth and impact aspirations.
This role can be carried out from our Burlingame, CA headquarters, hybrid, or fully remote/virtually. Remote candidates must be physically located within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Development: Design and execute a partnership strategy to expand market reach, build and formalize relationships with key healthcare consultants and brokers, and align efforts with organizational growth goals.
- Relationship Management: Maintain senior level relationships with key consultants, nurturing existing partnerships, cultivating new relationships, and conducting regular meetings, presentations, and training to promote Lyra partnerships.
- Insights and Market Analysis: Lead the collection and distribution of industry trends and market dynamics, providing valuable insights to inform product, sales, finance and marketing strategies while optimizing partnership performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Aptitude to solicit, analyze, and share feedback from partners with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, customer success, legal, finance) to make necessary adjustments in strategy, approach and execution; be an active and informed voice communicating solution needs, gaps and opportunities to our internal teams.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Through thoughtful and data-driven leadership of your team, define KPIs, track outcomes, review pipelines and provide senior leadership with regular updates, using data-driven insights to refine and improve strategies for your team.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in the healthcare benefits industry.
- 5+ years of demonstrated ability to build deep trusted relationships with key stakeholders at designated national, local and regional consultant and brokerage offices (e.g. Aon, WTW, Mercer)
- 5+ years managing high performing teams
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
- Experience developing and executing a benefit consultant/broker strategy, internally and externally
- Strong presentation skills, including the ability to articulate product vision and establish credibility with stakeholders.
- Experience in leading in a high growth, fast changing environment
- Ability to travel
