Salary: $150,000 - $200,000
We are seeking a senior Head of Business Analytics & Business Intelligence to own how data is consumed, interpreted, and acted upon across the firm. This leader is accountable for transforming high-quality, governed data into insights that directly inform executive decisions, business strategy, and day-to-day execution.
Reporting to the CAO, this role serves as the firm’s authority on analytics, business intelligence, and business performance metrics. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—able to engage at the executive level while personally shaping critical analyses, dashboards, and insight delivery.
This role partners closely with the Chief Information Officer and the Head of Data Engineering, who owns data pipelines, platforms, and foundational governance. Together, these leaders define data standards, governance, and tooling strategy—while maintaining clear accountability between data supply and data consumption.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Analytics & BI Leadership
- Define and execute the firm’s analytics and business intelligence strategy
- Establish analytics as a core driver of executive decision-making and accountability
- Serve as a trusted analytics advisor to senior leadership
Insight & Decision Enablement
- Translate business priorities into clear metrics, dashboards, and analytical insights
- Ensure leaders have timely, accurate, and actionable visibility into firm performance
- Elevate analytics from reporting to insight-driven guidance through self-service dashboards and AI enablement.
Hands-On Delivery and Execution
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable analytics initiatives and projects
- Build deliverables in leading BI and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights and scalable analytics against established timelines and milestones
- Regularly communicate results and impact to stakeholders and cross functional partners
BI Platforms & Standards
- Oversee BI and analytics tool selection, implementation, and adoption
- Standardize metrics, and reporting frameworks across the firm
- Ensure analytics outputs are intuitive, trusted, and decision-ready
Analytics Governance & Partnership
- Partner with the Head of Data Engineering on data definitions, governance, user access models, and data security
- Certify analytical outputs and ensure alignment with enterprise data standards
- Maintain a single source of truth for business performance metrics
Data Literacy & Culture
- Build a data-literate culture through enablement, training, and self-service analytics
- Improve how teams understand, interpret, and act on data
- Set best practices for analytics development, visualization, and storytelling
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience leading business analytics or BI functions at scale
- Proven ability to influence executive decisions through data and insights
- Deep expertise in business intelligence, analytics, KPI design, and visualization
- Strong understanding of data governance as it relates to analytics consumption
- Experience partnering closely with data engineering and technology teams
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presence
- Experience in investment banking, financial services, or regulated environments strongly preferred
