We are seeking a visionary, high-agency Regional Director to spearhead our expansion into the Greater Boston area. This leadership position is ideal for a proven operator who loves entrepreneurship, is energized by building a region from the ground up, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a pivotal role in launching NORY's signature STEM programs in Massachusetts and establishing a powerful regional presence.
Position Details:
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 base salary + up to 20% performance bonus
Location: Greater Boston Area (On-site / Regional Travel)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Launch & Regional Expansion: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic roadmap for NORY’s expansion into Boston, focusing on launching and scaling our local summer camps and subsequent programs.
Partnership Development: Forge and maintain high-value partnerships with local schools, educational organizations, and community stakeholders to secure premium, community-based camp locations.
Family Engagement & Outreach: Spearhead localized marketing, networking, and community outreach initiatives to increase NORY's brand visibility and drive local family enrollments.
Recruitment & Leadership: Recruit, onboard, train, and manage a high-performing local team of educators and site leaders to ensure the flawless delivery of our STEM curriculum.
Operational Management: Oversee all daily regional operations, including budget management, regional P&L accountability, and strict regulatory compliance (local childcare permits, licensing, and safety codes).
HQ Collaboration: Work closely with the NYC headquarters to leverage existing resources, maintain strict brand alignment, and implement proven operational best practices.
Proven Expansion Track Record: Demonstrated success in business expansion, educational program growth, or high-level community partnership formation.
Exceptional Leadership: Proven ability to recruit, manage, and inspire remote or multi-site teams while hitting rigorous operational and growth goals.
Educational Management Background: Experience in educational program management (or a related field) is preferred, though we welcome non-traditional candidates with unique, proven track records of execution.
Regional Expertise: Deep familiarity with the Greater Boston educational landscape, private/public school networks, and local community demographics.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: A highly adaptive, strategic thinker who can navigate ambiguity and build scalable systems in a rapidly evolving market.
Local Travel: Regular travel within the Greater Boston area is required to engage with local communities, cultivate partners, and audit active camp locations.
HQ Travel & Training: Periodic travel to NORY's NYC headquarters will be required for executive strategy sessions and team collaboration. NORY provides a comprehensive onboarding program (delivered both virtually and in-person in NYC) to equip you with the exact tools and resources needed to launch a new region.
Travel Support: Full financial reimbursement is provided for all required travel to NYC for training and executive alignment.
