We are looking for an experienced Head Bookkeeper to join our finance team at Team8. In this role, you will oversee the company’s day-to-day accounting, payroll, and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will lead key financial processes in a fast-paced, global environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the bookkeeping and payroll team.
- Oversee all bookkeeping activities and ensure accurate posting in NetSuite – proven, hands-on experience is necessary.
- Review and approve monthly payments to suppliers and service providers.
- Manage all Intercompany transactions and calculations and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage and oversee month-end and year-end close.
- Conduct and review periodic account reconciliations, including multi-currency accounts.
- Oversee issuance of invoices to customers, AR tracking, and collections.
- Prepare documentation and coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit.
Lead ad-hoc finance projects and implement process improvements.
Requirements
- Certified bookkeeper - Type 3
- Certified Payroll accountant
- Minimum 7 years of proven bookkeeping experience in High Tech companies
- Proven, hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP
- Proficient in Excel – pivot, vlookup, reports
- High-level English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Strong leadership skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
