Primary Purpose
Develop, manage, and implement programs that educate the public and Guiding Stars (GS) clients about nutrition and healthy living through the use of GS. Develop relationships with GS clients and business partners to enhance visibility and usage of GS program.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Quincy, MA and Scarborough, ME.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage and coordinate nutrition and wellness programs and tools utilizing GS for our clients and community.
  • Develop communications materials, presentations, special events and activities focused on nutrition and wellness.
  • Create and maintain collaborations with RDs, business & community partners and Guiding Stars licensees. Build relationships at all levels at the clients' organizations.
  • Support Brand & Nutrition (B&N) Manager
  • Support client retention efforts by providing excellent customer service to partners and licensees through collaboration with client nutrition and dietetic specialists. This includes regular site visits as well as virtual communications.
  • Serve as steward of the Guiding Stars brand with supporting responsibility for website, social media & PR.
  • Research emerging nutrition trends and evaluate relevant scientific research.
  • Explore and recommend emerging tools to support the visibility and usability of GS.
  • Represent GS on community health related projects, work groups and initiatives.
  • Collaborate on the development of nutritious recipes and menus and ensure information is updated and accurate.
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years related experience
  • Nutrition degree/experience (Registered Dietitian preferred)
  • Communications/marketing experience preferred
