Build and deploy AI-powered automations, agents, workflows, and internal tools across RevOps, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Operations. Map manual processes, integrate business systems through APIs and webhooks, embed LLM capabilities such as classification, extraction, summarization, RAG, and memory, and own solutions from prototype through production. Maintain automations, document processes, and train internal stakeholders.

Skeletons, lasers, tattoo buses — the Torq brand grabs attention like nothing else in cybersecurity. And we're growing like crazy, backed by Series D funding, 200% employee growth, and 300% revenue growth. Fueling Torq's momentum is our game-changing AI SOC platform, backed by a team and culture that makes Torq one of Forbes' Best Startup Employers in America, and a Business Insider 'startup to bet your career on'.

Life at Torq is all gas, no brakes. We're a team of relentless, collaborative go-getters pushing the boundaries of what's possible for security automation. Every role is an essential driver of Torq's success as the AI-native autonomous SecOps platform of choice for security teams across the Fortune 500.

We're looking for an AI GTM Engineer to join our Transformation & Business Systems team. This role is built for someone fluent in AI-native building: you know how to vibe code a working tool end-to-end, you're hands-on with at least one automation platform, and you understand how LLMs, agents, and workflows actually fit together. You'll work directly with stakeholders across RevOps, Sales and CS to map manual processes and turn them into automated, AI-powered systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Map manual, repetitive business processes end-to-end across the company - Finance, HR, Operations, Marketing, and the revenue funnel - and identify high-impact automation opportunities
  • Own automation delivery from idea to production: translate requirements from non-technical stakeholders and design, build, test, and ship working solutions
  • Build automated workflows using platforms like n8n, Zapier, Make, Tray.io, or Workato
  • Design, build, and deploy AI agents that plug into real business workflows - embedding LLM APIs for use cases like ticket classification, document data extraction, and automated summarization, and applying RAG and memory patterns so they can reason over company knowledge
  • Vibe code complete internal tools end-to-end using AI coding assistants - from rapid prototype (POC) validated with business users to something people actually use in production
  • Connect internal systems (CRM, ERP, ticketing, Google Workspace/Microsoft 365) via APIs and webhooks, including AI-powered workflows for Marketing and Revenue teams — lead enrichment, campaign reporting automation, and pipeline data hygiene
  • Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve existing automations - documenting processes and training internal process owners along the way

The Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building automations or AI-powered workflows, including implementing AI/ML tools into operational workflows
  • Solid working knowledge of LLMs - how they work, their capabilities and limitations, and how to get reliable output from them
  • Hands-on, practical experience with at least one AI automation/workflow platform: n8n, Zapier, Make, Tray.io, or Workato
  • Comfortable "vibe coding" - using AI coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, Replit) to build and ship a complete project end-to-end
  • Understanding of AI agent workflows - how to design, build, and deploy AI agents - plus working knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agent memory concepts
  • Automation-first mindset and data-driven systems thinker - you look at any manual process, know how to map it end-to-end, and instinctively see how to automate it - with experience on a complex business systems stack (Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, Gong, or equivalent)
  • Excellent communicator - able to translate operational complexity into clear narratives for executives and cross-functional partners - with familiarity with revenue and marketing systems and workflows (CRM data flows, campaign automation, lead scoring, or pipeline reporting); experience automating or supporting GTM/Revenue-adjacent processes is a strong plus

As an equal opportunity employer, we are committed to a team defined and empowered by diversity. We consider qualified applicants without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

We build AI for a living,  and we encourage candidates to use it to prep, research, and sharpen their best work. But we're hiring humans, not chatbots. We want the real you.  Use AI to tighten your resume, prep for interviews, research Torq, and outline ideas for written responses. Show up as yourself for live interviews, final assessments (the voice, logic, and reasoning need to be yours), and anywhere we're evaluating how you think — not how you prompt.

Excited about our vision and ready to make an impact as we grow? We'd love to see what you can bring to the team.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
