About the role:
As a GTM Analytics Manager on Kong’s Global Revenue Analytics team, you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling our sales organization. You’ll own day-to-day analytics for GTM teams, providing data-driven insights that illuminate sales performance, pipeline health, and overall business growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a strategic mindset to enhance Kong’s revenue operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with the GTM Analytics Director execute a roadmap to equip GTM teams with key data, analysis, and insights for scale and growth.
- Evolve Kong’s analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.
- Own all aspects of pipeline analytics, including forecasting, health, generation, movement, and coverage.
- Contribute to strategic projects such as GTM annual planning, pipeline target setting, capacity planning, and product consumption analysis.
- Maintain a revenue forecast model to enhance predictability in revenue generation.
- Manage headcount forecasting for AE, SDR, and SE teams to ensure capacity planning aligns with business goals.
- Support quarterly business reviews (QBRs), board presentations, end-of-quarter analysis, and reconciliation.
- Establish processes and best practices to elevate the GTM Analytics team’s impact.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations to drive standardization and visibility across global sales teams.
- And any additional tasks required by manager.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree from a top university.
- 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Data Analytics, Consulting, or Financial Planning in an analytical role.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and large global sales teams.
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales productivity tools.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize based on business impact.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise sales metrics and pipeline analytics.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, SFDC, Clari, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
- SQL proficiency is a plus.
- Experience with Snowflake or similar data platforms.
- SFDC Admin Certification is a plus.
Kong has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to specific candidate location, role, skill set and level of experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards including sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role. Benefits may vary depending on location. US based employees are typically offered access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short and long term disability benefits, basic life and AD&D insurance, among others. The typical base pay range for this role in the US is $100,000 - 133,000.
