Who is Credible?

Credible is a leading U.S. consumer finance marketplace, transforming the way consumers access and compare financial products. We operate at a consumer and enterprise level. On the consumer side, we help millions of people make smarter financial decisions by comparing personalized, pre-qualified offers across student loans, personal loans, mortgages, credit cards, and insurance — all without impacting their credit score. On the enterprise side, we power financial product comparison and distribution through deep integrations and partnerships with lenders, insurance carriers, and financial institutions, as well as providing marketplace technology and capabilities to third-party partners and distribution channels.

We are hiring a Performance Marketing Analyst (also titled Growth Specialist) to own auto insurance paid acquisition on Credible's Israel-based paid marketing team. This is a mid-senior individual-contributor role that starts in SEM, owning Google Ads hands-on for the auto vertical, and expands into paid social, and emerging formats through FY27.

You are bidding against national carriers and other comparison marketplaces, at the state level, on economics that shift by carrier and consumer profile. Prior hands-on auto insurance paid media experience is the single most important requirement for this role.

You will report to the Senior Performance Marketing Lead and work closely with the Head of Performance Marketing. This is a high-autonomy role with real budget ownership, clear targets, and a fast path to broader channel responsibility.

Responsibilities
  • Campaign ownership: build, manage, and optimize SEM campaigns for auto insurance: keyword research, ad copy, bid management, negative keyword hygiene, and match type strategy
  • Geo & state-level strategy: manage performance at the state and DMA level, where carrier availability, premiums, and payouts differ materially; build and tune location bid modifiers and state-segmented campaign structures
  • Quote funnel optimization: monitor quote-start and quote-completion rates by keyword, device, and state; diagnose where users drop out of the quote flow and partner with PM/CRO to fix it
  • Competitive auction management: track auction dynamics against direct carriers and comparison marketplaces; adapt bidding and messaging as competitors shift spend and seasonality moves
  • Channel expansion: expand ownership into non-search channels
  • Performance analysis: monitor daily performance against GPM and revenue targets; identify underperforming campaigns and take corrective action proactively
  • Compliance-aware execution: keep ad copy and landing pages within insurance advertising requirements, including licensing disclosures and state-level restrictions, working with Legal/Compliance on anything ambiguous
  • Reporting: contribute to weekly performance reports; flag issues with clear context and recommended actions
Education & Experience
  • Auto insurance (required): 2+ years running paid media for U.S. auto insurance, at a carrier, agency, or comparison marketplace. You know the keyword landscape, the state-level economics, and what a quality lead looks like
  • Paid media depth: 3+ years hands-on Google Ads in a performance/direct-response environment, with demonstrated ROAS improvement or CPA reduction on real budget
  • Experience running Meta Ads / TikTok Ads campaigns
  • Lead-gen economics: fluent in revenue per click and per lead, lead quality, and how payout structures shape bidding decisions
  • Technical skills: Smart Bidding, keyword match types, Quality Score levers, search term analysis, geo targeting, and campaign structure best practices.
  • Ownership mindset: comfortable making independent optimization decisions within agreed guardrails; doesn't wait to be told what to change
  • Communication: clear written English; able to summarize performance and reasoning in weekly updates to a US-based team
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Nice To Have
  • Experience at an insurance comparison marketplace or aggregator
  • Exposure to Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads)
  • Experience working with US teams remotely
  • Experience with Performance Max campaigns
