This role is responsible for driving measurable customer acquisition, revenue growth, and channel efficiency. You will manage and optimize campaigns across paid search, paid social, marketplace, and emerging media channels while ensuring clean tracking, accurate reporting, and continuous experimentation.

You thrive in performance environments, move quickly from insight to action, and are comfortable operating deep in the numbers. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on campaign management.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will partner closely with leaders in Marketing Operations, Finance, Creative, and external partners to ensure campaigns are launched efficiently, tracked accurately, and optimized relentlessly.

What You'll Do

Paid Media Ownership

  • Own end-to-end execution and optimization across paid channels including Meta, Google, Apple, Amazon, and emerging platforms.
  • Manage paid search, paid social, display, marketplace advertising, and retargeting programs.
  • Drive channel diversification while maintaining disciplined CAC and ROAS targets.
  • Continuously test new audiences, creatives, bidding strategies, and placements.

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Build and execute full-funnel campaigns aligned to acquisition, activation, and revenue goals.
  • Develop campaign briefs in partnership with Creative and ensure high-velocity testing.
  • Manage budgets across channels and adjust allocations based on performance signals.
  • Own campaign pacing and performance forecasting.

Tracking, Attribution & Measurement

  • Ensure accurate campaign tracking, including proper UTM structure and governance.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations and Product to validate attribution, conversion signal health, and data integrity.
  • Monitor performance across Shopify, Amazon, and other consumer platforms.
  • Manage reporting frameworks to measure CAC, ROAS, LTV, and incremental lift.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Manage and maintain performance dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools.
  • Manage weekly and monthly performance reporting with clear insights and action plans.
  • Use Excel modeling to forecast spend, revenue, and efficiency scenarios.
  • Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Optimization & Experimentation

  • Lead structured A/B testing across creatives, audiences, landing pages, and messaging.
  • Identify growth levers and scale what works quickly.
  • Implement performance-based decision frameworks to maximize ROI.
  • Stay ahead of changes in platform algorithms, privacy updates, and tracking evolution.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing or performance marketing roles.
  • Proven ownership of paid media budgets across Meta, Google, Apple Search Ads, Amazon, and related platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel (forecasting, modeling, pivot tables), and PowerPoint for executive reporting.
  • Experience with Rockerbox, Measured, Improvado, AppsFlyer, Looker, GA4, Tableau, or similar BI and Martech tools.
  • Deep understanding of UTM parameters, tracking architecture, attribution models, and performance metrics.
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify and Amazon.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into action.
  • Direct response copy and creative management experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with lifecycle marketing and automated customer journeys
  • Familiarity with campaign tracking frameworks and UTM parameters
  • Experience building dashboards or reporting within marketing platforms
  • Comfort working across marketing, product, and partner teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Familiarity with SEO, AEO, and GEO principles, including how structured content, metadata, and technical implementation support search visibility and AI-driven discovery

What You’ll Bring

  • Paid channels consistently hit CAC and ROAS targets.
  • Tracking is accurate, trusted, and actionable.
  • Campaigns launch quickly and iterate based on performance data.
  • Growth experiments drive measurable increases in efficiency and revenue.
  • Leadership receives clear, insight-driven reporting that informs decisions.
  • Quarterly growth goals are achieved.

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
