Own LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and email growth from strategy through execution. Write and publish content, manage email flows and segmentation, build landing pages and opt-in offers, optimize the funnel, run weekly tests, report performance, and manage contractors as the channels scale. Success is measured by subscriber growth, booked admissions calls, applications, and enrollments.

Wall Street Quants helps ambitious students and early-career professionals break into quantitative finance. We train candidates for roles in quant trading, quant research, and quant development at firms like Citadel, Jane Street, Two Sigma, HRT, Jump Trading, Optiver, IMC, SIG, and DRW.

We are hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to own four channels completely: LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and email.

Own means own. You set the strategy, write the posts, make or direct the creative, publish, run the email list, read the numbers, and answer for the results. No one above you writes the brief and no one below you executes it.

This is a growth role, not a content calendar role. You will be measured on subscribers, booked calls, applications, and enrolled students, not impressions.

What you will own:

- LinkedIn: the company page and the founder's personal brand. This is our highest-intent channel.

- X: a real presence in the quant, trading, and finance careers conversation. Posting and replying daily.

- Instagram: short-form video and carousels aimed at students and early-career candidates.

- Email: the entire list. Lead magnets, opt-in flows, nurture sequences, broadcasts, segmentation, deliverability, and re-engagement.

- Landing pages and opt-in offers that grow the list.

- The path from first touch to booked admissions call, including where people drop off.

- A weekly testing cadence across hooks, formats, subject lines, send times, and offers.

- Weekly reporting on what moved, what did not, and what you are changing as a result.

- Contractors such as editors and designers, once you have proven what is worth scaling.

How the role is measured:

- Follower and subscriber growth you can explain

- Email open, click, and reply rates that hold as the list grows

- Booked admissions calls attributable to organic and email on a first click basis

- Applications and enrolled students

Requirements

You are a strong fit if:

- You have personally grown an audience or an email list to real scale and can show the numbers. Not supported, not contributed to. Grew it.

- You write excellent English. Hooks, posts, threads, subject lines, and long-form emails. Most of this job is writing.

- You have run an email platform hands-on, such as Kit/ConvertKit, Klaviyo, Customer.io, or HubSpot, building flows, segments, and automations yourself.

- You are fluent in funnel metrics: opt-in rate, open and click rate, reply rate, booked-call rate, show rate, CAC, and LTV. You know which ones matter and which are vanity.

- You ship daily. Volume and iteration are the job.

- You have run more than one channel. Email-only or LinkedIn-only backgrounds will struggle here.

- You are comfortable on camera, or comfortable directing someone who is.

- You can learn quant finance well enough to write about it credibly. You do not need to be a quant, but you cannot get it wrong.

- You can work a consistent daily block overlapping US Eastern hours and are responsive during it.

Nice to have:

- You have grown your own account, newsletter, or audience from zero

- Genuine interest in markets, trading, or technical subjects

- Experience marketing something with a sales call in the middle, such as education, coaching, or B2B

- Comfortable using AI tools for research and drafting without the output reading like it

This role is not right for someone who needs a brief before starting, reports impressions as results, has only run one channel, or wants to manage a team before personally proving the channels work.

Hiring process: a short intro call, then a paid practical exercise where you write a LinkedIn post, an X thread, and one email for a real campaign of ours, and walk us through your thinking. Come ready to share numbers from work you have done and references we can speak to.

Benefits

- $40,000 to $58,000 USD per year, depending on experience and demonstrated results

- Performance-based upside tied to list growth, booked calls, and enrollments

- Fully remote with flexible hours

- Complete ownership of four channels with a direct line to the founder

- Budget for tools, and for contractors once you have proven what to scale

- Opportunity to build and lead your own team as the channels grow

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)

  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
