Position Overview:
In this pivotal role, you’ll lead both the Marketing Acquisition and Brand teams while serving as a strategic pod leader for one of our multi-million-dollar business units. The Growth and Marketing Leader is responsible for owning revenue growth and leading the growth strategy for SimpleNursing, nursing education business, acting as a mini business owner who drives both marketing performance and overall business results.
What You'll Do
- This Growth and Marketing Leader role involves owning the growth agenda for SimpleNursing, a multi-million dollar nursing education business, setting and executing data-driven strategies to acquire, convert, and retain students in a highly digital, direct-to-consumer environment.
- The primary focus is to drive aggressive, sustainable revenue growth—experimenting across channels, building scalable programs, and turning insights into repeatable results.
- The Growth and Marketing Leader is directly responsible for delivering revenue and performance targets for the business, continuously optimizing marketing investments, conversion funnels, and lifecycle initiatives to meet or exceed plan.
- Works closely with product, development, content, operations, sales/B2B, and shared marketing services to set priorities, align roadmaps, and execute integrated growth strategies as the pod (business) leader.
- This role will require proactive outbound experimentation and market engagement, including testing new channels, partnerships, and campaigns to reach and convert nursing students where they are.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Strong strategic and executional marketing background with a proven focus on growth.
- Experience managing marketing budgets, ideally between $10M and $25M.
- Broad digital marketing expertise across acquisition and retention channels.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with product, operations, and content teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with creativity grounded in data and analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to grow a business through organic and paid channels.
- B2C marketing experience required; familiarity with B2B marketing in academic or university contexts is a plus.
