About FocusKPI

With 15+ years of experience in data consulting, FocusKPI is now accelerating our transition into AI. We’ve already developed several AI products with strong early validation, and we’re ready to scale distribution and adoption. We’re looking for a Growth Manager to help lead outreach, demos, customer feedback loops, and growth operations.

Role Overview

As a Growth Manager (AI Products), you will play a key role in bringing our AI products to market. This is a highly cross-functional role combining marketing execution, sales follow-up, product demos, and customer relationship management. You don’t need to build models or analyze complex data, but you should be comfortable learning how AI workflows work and making light improvements (e.g., basic prompt tuning) to support demos and customer success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run live product demos for prospects, partners, and early users, and continuously improve demo flow and storytelling
  • Execute outreach across email/LinkedIn/warm introductions, and manage consistent follow-ups to move conversations forward
  • Maintain relationships with prospects and early customers through structured check-ins, updates, and next steps
  • Collect customer feedback after demos and trials, summarize insights, and translate them into clear product requests
  • Refine sales and marketing materials (deck, one-pagers, demo scripts, landing page messaging, case studies, outreach templates)
  • Support onboarding and light implementation coordination (feature customization, data connection needs, deployment requirements)
  • Track pipeline status and progress using CRM or internal tools, ensuring strong follow-up and clear priorities
  • Improve go-to-market workflows and outreach methodology (ICP targeting, messaging iterations, funnel conversion tracking)
What You’ll Work On (Examples)
  • Improving demo conversion by tightening the narrative and showing the right “wow moments” early
  • Light prompt tuning and workflow configuration to improve output quality for specific use cases
  • Turning raw customer feedback into organized feature summaries and prioritized improvements
  • Building repeatable outreach sequences and follow-up systems to generate meetings consistently
  • Supporting pilot users and maintaining engagement until a paid decision is made
Qualifications (Required)
  • 2–5 years of experience in growth, B2B marketing, sales enablement, business development, customer success, or partnerships
  • Strong communication skills (you can explain technical products clearly and confidently)
  • Comfortable leading customer-facing calls and running demos
  • Highly organized and reliable with follow-ups, tracking, and task execution
  • Interested in AI products and willing to learn basic prompting concepts and best practices
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience in early-stage SaaS or bringing a new product to market
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and productivity tools (Notion, Airtable)
  • Basic understanding of LLM workflows (prompting, hallucinations, evaluation, privacy/security basics)
  • Experience producing content for growth (LinkedIn posts, landing page copy, sales collateral)
What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)
  • You can independently run effective demos and manage follow-up workflows
  • Our outreach messaging and decks are more consistent and conversion-ready
  • Clear weekly visibility into pipeline, deal status, and next actions
  • Customer feedback is captured and summarized in a way that improves product prioritization
  • Stronger relationships with pilot users and smoother movement toward paid adoption
Why Join FocusKPI

This role sits at the center of our product growth. You’ll work closely with the founding team and product team, have direct ownership over market-facing execution, and help define how our AI products scale from early validation into real adoption.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
