About Property Leads

Property Leads is revolutionizing the real estate investing industry by delivering high-quality, motivated seller leads to real estate professionals. We’re a fast-moving, data-driven company focused on profitable growth. We value autonomy, ownership, and relentless execution over bureaucracy and process for its own sake.

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-agency, execution-first operator to take ownership of a major growth initiative and evolve into full P&L responsibility for a business line.

You will work closely with ownership and growth leadership to stand up, operate, and scale initiatives using an existing framework. This role is about making strategy real—turning direction into systems, teams, and results.

This is not a vision-setting role and not a support role. You will be accountable for execution, outcomes, and continuous improvement.

Over time, this role grows into direct ownership of people, processes, and performance across an entire business unit.

What You’ll Do🛠 Execution & Business Build
  • Stand up and operate growth initiatives using an existing playbook
  • Own execution across experimentation, rollout, and iteration
  • Translate strategy into clear weekly priorities and deliverables
  • Identify bottlenecks and solve them decisively
  • Drive launches across channels, partnerships, and go-to-market efforts
  • Take initiatives from “idea” → “operating system” → “scaled output”
🧠 Operational Systems & Process
  • Design and implement SOPs, workflows, and internal playbooks
  • Build durable systems for campaign execution, experimentation, and reporting
  • Improve prioritization, execution cadence, and accountability across teams
  • Create structure that allows teams to move faster with fewer errors
📊 Performance, Analytics & Accountability
  • Own performance tracking across key growth and revenue metrics
  • Build and maintain dashboards that drive decision-making
  • Ensure experiments are tracked, evaluated, and acted on
  • Surface performance gaps and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain clear visibility into unit-level economics and results
🤝 Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Coordinate execution across marketing, sales, product, and engineering
  • Drive follow-through from planning meetings and operating reviews
  • Ensure priorities are aligned and execution stays on track
  • Act as the connective tissue between strategy and day-to-day work
📦 Ownership-Level Work
  • Manage external vendors, partners, and freelancers as needed
  • Own operational hygiene: timelines, priorities, and delivery
  • Take on high-impact work that lacks a clear owner but materially affects outcomes
  • Prepare the business line for scale through people, systems, and clarity
Who You Are
  • 3–10+ years experience in operating roles at startups, growth-stage companies, or execution-heavy environments
  • Proven track record of building and running initiatives, not just supporting them
  • Strong analytical ability; comfortable working directly in data, dashboards, and operating metrics
  • Clear communicator who can turn complexity into action
  • Extremely high ownership and bias toward execution
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy and accountability in an unstructured environment
Who This Role Is Not For
  • Vision-first strategists or idea generators
  • Career Chiefs of Staff looking for exposure rather than ownership
  • Operators who require fully built teams and systems
  • Advisory or consulting-only profiles
Why This Role Works
  • 📈 Ownership of real outcomes, not slide decks
  •  🚀 Direct line to leadership and decision-making
  • 🧠 Proven business model with room to scale
  • 💻 Remote, flexible, execution-driven culture
  • 🛠 Opportunity to run a full P&L as the role matures

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
