Growth and Lifecycle Marketing Manager

Sage is on a mission to improve care and quality of life for older adults, starting with those residing in senior living facilities. Falls are the leading cause of injury-related death among adults over 65. And yet, fall prevention and emergency response systems for older adults are archaic and ineffective. At Sage we've built a more modern way of understanding when older adults need help, including methods for residents to alert caregivers when in need of help, and corresponding software for caregivers to triage response. Our company mission is to create a product that our client counterparts love, and this role is a key part of that objective.

Sage is a small, tight team of ambitious, multi-disciplinary entrepreneurs. We are a software-enabled, mission-driven company, and are focused only on the problems that are central to achieving that mission. At Sage, we work hard and fast but also know that to build a truly important company, we need to treat our work as a marathon, and not a sprint. The journey matters.

About the Role

We’re hiring a hands-on Growth & Lifecycle Marketing Manager to help us activate and convert demand across the funnel. This person will bring a test-and-learn mindset to campaign execution, email strategy, paid media, and lead conversion—particularly around conferences, referrals, and warm pipeline. You’ll work closely with Sales, Events, and Product Marketing to identify high-impact opportunities to shorten the path from interest to action.

Responsibilities
  • Build and execute email campaigns, journeys, and light automations
  • Support lead capture and conversion efforts around conferences, events, and partnerships
  • Identify and test new channels and conversion strategies (LPs, paid, referral loops, etc.)
  • Plan and execute lightweight paid campaigns (LinkedIn, retargeting, etc.)
  • Own campaign reporting and funnel performance in partnership with Sales Ops
  • Partner with Content and Product Marketing on asset development and usage
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years in growth, lifecycle, or demand marketing roles
  • Experience managing campaigns in HubSpot or similar tools
  • Experience executing paid campaigns in B2B environments
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort working across functions
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to move quickly
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, B2B, or sales-led growth environments
  • Light SEO or referral marketing experience a plus

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120,000-$150,000 USD, depending on your level of expertise, your experience, and your performance in the interview process. What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
