The Opportunity:
eCapital is seeking a Growth Account Executive to lead go-to-market efforts for one of eCapital’s new groundbreaking fintech initiatives. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit that will use a multitude of skills and tactics to grow this new lending business. We are seeking a technology sales and partnership professional who can help drive the strategy and execution needed to grow eCapital’s first digitally native lending product. role will be an individual contributor role reporting to the SVP of Embedded Finance. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, identify, and build relationships with new clients and partners in fintech, SaaS, and e-commerce.
  • Drive the full sales cycle: discovery, solution alignment, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Retain and expand revenue within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly growth and revenue targets.
  • Serve as a consultative partner, delivering tailored product demos and solutions that address client needs.
  • Provide ongoing account management and high-level customer service to ensure long-term success.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client businesses, industries, and pain points to strengthen relationships.
  • Become an expert in eCapital’s fintech lending products and platforms, and competitive landscape.
  • Stay current with trends in alternative lending, SaaS, and e-commerce to inform sales strategy.
  • Clearly communicate product value, market opportunities, and industry challenges to clients.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, legal, finance, and customer success to execute deals and ensure smooth client onboarding.
  • Share market insights and client feedback to help shape product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Utilize CRM and sales enablement tools to manage pipeline, track account activity, and ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enable efficient scaling of the sales function.
  • Represent the company at Amazon seller events, fintech industry conferences, and other networking opportunities.
  • Leverage these events to build relationships, generate leads, and strengthen brand visibility.

Required Qualifications:
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3+ years of experience in technology sales, strategic partnerships and/or account management
  • Exceptional ability to articulate strategic visions and technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record building meaningful relationships internally and externally
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time to events, visiting clients and prospective partners
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in fintech, lending technology, ecommerce or financial services.
