As Group Product Manager, eCommerce, you’ll do much more than just “gather requirements” – you’ll drive the performance and strategy of our eHealth websites, directly impacting the way our customers interact with us. You’ll focus on critical aspects such as domain and ecosystem strategy, global navigation, homepage design, and common entry pages, all while optimizing SEO rankings and site findability.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. You’ll partner closely with user experience, marketing, engineering, data science, analysts, and business teams to solve some of the most complex and emotionally charged challenges our customers face in their healthcare journeys. By leveraging deep insights into customer behaviors, needs, and how they shop for healthcare, you’ll shape product strategy and innovate new solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Lead product development for shared and common products across the eHealth ecosystem, including global navigation, architecture, taxonomy, corporate and common pages (homepage, etc.) and content management system (CMS).
  • Work closely with customers, partners, engineering, data science and leadership to define the product strategy and roadmap for an AI-First SaaS CRM solution to positively impact customer success.
  • Own the related product strategy and roadmap to improve website engagement and performance, focusing on conversion rate optimization and overall user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with business leads, Marketing, SEO, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of the product roadmap.
  • Lead efforts to improve technical SEO across the websites, collaborating with marketing, product, and development teams to implement best practices.
  • Manage ongoing improvements in website speed and performance, including regular monitoring and reporting to SEO, Marketing, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Conduct technical audits to identify areas for improvement and resolve technical issues that impact site performance, crawling, and indexing.
  • Optimize website structure, URLs, internal linking, and mobile accessibility for better user experience and SEO performance.
  • Implement structured data markup and schema to enhance search engine visibility.
  • Take ownership of improving page load speeds and resolving technical errors to ensure an optimal user experience.
  • Build quality backlinks to increase website authority and enhance SEO rankings.
  • Create and optimize sitemaps to improve crawling and indexing.
  • Work with engineering and UX teams to translate business requirements into user stories and detailed product requirements for execution.
  • Partner with web developers and content creators to ensure alignment on SEO initiatives and product enhancements.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of website initiatives and identify areas for further optimization.
  • Use both quantitative and qualitative feedback to prioritize initiatives to improve the user experience, ensuring transparency and clarity in communication.
  • Optimize product development processes to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget, driving innovation and maximizing team impact.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to ensure alignment and successful product delivery
  • Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in eCommerce website product and technical SEO
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development
  • Coding or scripting skills, such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
  • Proficiency using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEM Rush, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Knowledge of keyword research and implementation strategies
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and provide actionable insight
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining SSL certificates
  • Understanding of website architecture and its impact on SEO
  • Experience working with site entry and landing pages as well as article pages to drive SEO growth
  • Experienced with different content management systems (CMS) and solutions and their SEO plugins or modules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with direct-to-consumer eCommerce offerings, preferably experience working with mobile and tablet device interfaces
  • Ability to work collaboratively, lead teams by influence to execute on deadline in an ambiguous environment, pitch in on whatever needs doing to get the job done.
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the ability to communicate the product vision, roadmap, backlog priorities and trade-offs, adapting messages to the audience, technical and non-technical.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Atlassian, JIRA etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in health care, insurance, or related marketplace industry, preferably in the (E&I) area
  • Understanding of the Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA)

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
