Position Overview

Elite is hiring a Director , Platform & Intelligence Value Stream to own the value stream end to end — the shared platform foundation every Elite product is built on, together with the productization of our AI and data capabilities. You will own the roadmap for orchestration, conversational AI, rules, unified access, and the event backbone, and turn those services into a reusable foundation that our financial, work-to-cash, and internal business product lines build on rather than around.

This is both a strategy role and a delivery role. You will carry the what and why for the stream — a single prioritized backlog, roadmap sequencing, and requirements translation through release commitment and delivery — pair daily with an engineering delivery unit, and lead a small standing team of domain and analyst talent. Because the platform is horizontal, you will sit upstream of every customer-facing product line, and you will be measured on the return the stream delivers rather than on output volume.

Work Arrangement: Remote

Responsibilities

Own the Platform & Framework Foundation

  • Own the product roadmap for Elite's shared platform services — including workflow orchestration, conversational AI, and business rules — and sequence their maturity from foundation to scale.
  • Own the product direction for unified access and entitlements — authorization, user management, data-level security, and subscription-driven feature access across Elite applications.
  • Treat the platform as a product with internal customers, defining the patterns, contracts, and adoption paths by which other product teams consume shared services, so capability is built once and reused.
  • Partner with Engineering on the shared infrastructure and sequencing that let product teams build on the platform rather than around it.

Productize AI & Data

  • Own productization of workflow- and agent-driven capabilities that move customers beyond traditional reporting toward AI that takes action inside their day-to-day financial and legal workflows.
  • Turn data assets into productized offerings on a modern cloud data platform, with clear value metrics and pricing.
  • Shape product and go-to-market strategy for integrations that give customers richer, real-time access to their data, including through third-party AI tools.

Lead the Value Stream

  • Define and prioritize a single backlog around customer outcomes and return on investment, and drive it from backlog through release commitment and delivery.
  • Set quarterly outcomes for the stream and point the paired delivery unit at the highest-value work; own feasibility, trade-offs, escalations, and backlog readiness.
  • Lead and grow the stream's standing team of domain and analyst talent, raising the bar on domain depth and AI fluency.
  • Act as the product voice in architectural and platform prioritization, steering infrastructure investment toward the capabilities that drive customer outcomes and revenue.

Build Governance In from the Start

  • Partner with Security and Architecture from the outset of each initiative to build data governance, access control, auditability, and appropriate safeguards into agentic products and integrations that handle privileged and financial data.
  • Ensure agents inherit user-level permissions, including data-level security, so intelligence and automation stay within firm entitlements by design.

Commercialize and Enable

  • Define value metrics and commercial models that make return on investment legible to customers and to the business.
  • Enable Sales and Services with clear narratives, value propositions, and routing guidance for platform, AI, and data capabilities.
  • Use usage data, customer insight, and financial metrics to drive prioritization for adoption, retention, and revenue impact.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 10+ years in product management, including direct ownership of platform, data, analytics, or AI/ML products, with at least three years leading product managers or end-to-end delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience productizing AI/ML or agentic capabilities into shipped B2B products — not only analytics or BI reporting. This is a core requirement.
  • Hands-on experience productizing platform or foundational services — workflow and orchestration, identity and entitlements, rules engines, or shared data services — consumed by multiple product teams.
  • Experience building or productizing data offerings on a modern cloud data platform or lakehouse architecture (for example Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake), with the technical fluency to make sound build trade-offs.
  • Experience packaging, pricing, and commercializing data products or platform integrations, including connectors or APIs that expose data to third-party tools or AI assistants.
  • Direct experience with data governance, access control, or compliance in a regulated or sensitive-data setting, and comfort partnering closely with Security and Architecture.
  • A track record of end-to-end delivery ownership — turning strategy into measurable, shipped outcomes — with fluency in backlog management and outcome metrics.
  • Proven people leadership: hiring, developing, and directing product and analyst talent, and leading through influence across Engineering and business partners.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management, with a bias toward focus, prioritization, and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience building or operating complex B2B SaaS platforms in ERP, financial systems, legal technology, or another regulated environment, preferred.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or comparable backlog and delivery tooling, preferred.
  • Ability to travel up 10–25% as business needs require
  • Role requires the following physical capacity: Sedentary: primarily desk/computer work
  • Must be legally authorized to work in United States; Elite does not provide employment sponsorship for this position

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation Package ($211,500- $235,000 base salary + variable component)
  • Comprehensive Healthcare Coverage (Health, Dental, Vision)
  • Retirement Savings Plan with an Employer Contribution
  • Professional Development Opportunities
  • Time Off
  • Wellness Initiatives
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Generous Global Parental Leave
  • Calm, free premium subscription
  • Employee Discount Program

Please note that we do not offer sponsorship for this position.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
