Veriforce is the fastest-growing SaaS-technology and services company in the global supply chain risk management market. We help industry-leading companies create and maintain operating cultures and work environments that optimize safety, promote sustainability, and foster collaboration across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders. What separates Veriforce from the rest is our people. We hire highly-intelligent, growth-minded individuals that team well and continuously look for new, better ways of solving business challenges.

Veriforce is seeking a hands-on, strategic Group Director, Product Marketing to lead and scale our global product marketing efforts across the US, Canada, and the UK.

This is a player coach role. While you’ll be building and leading the function, you’ll also be the primary product marketer for key regions until the full team is in place. You’ll be expected to operate both strategically and tactically - setting the vision, building frameworks, and owning execution when needed.

We’re looking for someone who has built product marketing teams before, understands how to scale, and thrives in a high ownership environment. You should be comfortable crafting messaging, launching features, enabling sales, working with design and UX, and partnering with product to shape narratives - all while laying the foundation for a scalable, best in class function.

You’ll take immediate ownership of product marketing for the US and play a critical role in shaping how we operate globally. While we currently have a PMM in Canada and may have someone in place for the UK by the time you join, team structure is still evolving — and you’ll be central to helping assess talent, define regional support needs, and shape how we scale. If you're energized by wearing multiple hats while building the foundation of a high-performing global function, this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll OwnPlayer-Coach Execution
  • Lead and develop our regional Product Marketing teams in Canada and the UK, while owning product marketing responsibilities for the US.
  • Set the strategic direction, lead by example, and stay deeply involved in day to day execution.
  • Write compelling messaging, create sales enablement tools, and lead product launches directly as the team scales.
  • Provide hands on leadership and mentorship to the Canadian and UK PMM, ensuring their growth and alignment across regions.
Global Product Marketing Strategy
  • Set the global vision and roadmap for product marketing - with structure, scale, and clarity.
  • Build a repeatable, high impact function that aligns with GTM and product priorities.
  • Hire, develop, and lead a high performing, geographically distributed team over time.
Messaging, Positioning, & Content
  • Translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling messaging tailored to personas and industries.
  • Write and oversee content across touchpoints - including in app, web, sales decks, newsletters, and more.
  • Partner with UX/design to bring product stories to life in ways that engage and educate.
Go-to-Market Execution & Launches
  • Lead product and feature launches - from planning through execution - ensuring consistent communication and cross-functional alignment.
  • Create and maintain a scalable launch playbook and GTM toolkit.
Enablement & Buyer Journey Support
  • Build materials that enable GTM teams to confidently position and sell - battlecards, one-pagers, talk tracks, demo narratives, etc.
  • Lead enablement sessions and support teams through complex product updates or launches.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
  • Establish a clear view of the competitive landscape and position Veriforce effectively.
  • Partner with internal teams (Product, VOC, Analytics) to continuously refine messaging based on feedback and performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Act as the connective tissue between Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Drive alignment and feedback loops that improve how we bring products to market.
What Success Looks Like
  • Strategic clarity and a documented product marketing foundation are in place.
  • Major launches are executed smoothly, with consistent messaging and strong adoption.
  • GTM teams are enabled and confident in the tools and messaging you’ve delivered.
  • Messaging is landing - because you’re measuring, testing, and refining.
  • Product updates are timely, consistent, and well communicated across channels.
  • A thoughtful hiring and scale up plan for the PMM team is in motion.
  • You’ve built trust and strong working rhythms with Product, Marketing, Sales, and VOC and Analytics teams.
What You Bring
  • 7+ years in B2B SaaS product marketing, with 3+ years in a leadership or team-building role.
  • Experience both setting strategy and executing as a hands on marketer.
  • A track record of building or transforming a product marketing function - ideally globally.
  • Strong communication skills - able to write crisp messaging and adapt across formats and channels.
  • Deep understanding of GTM processes, sales enablement, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Ability to measure impact and iterate based on performance and feedback.
  • Cross functional leadership and collaboration skills - you know how to rally a team and get things done.
  • Industry experience in safety, compliance, workforce management, or operational risk in industrial sectors (e.g., energy, utilities, food & bev, construction, or chemicals) is required.
Bonus Points
  • Experience creating customer- or sales-facing content.
  • Skilled at competitive positioning and win/loss analysis.
  • Familiar with analyst relations and market perception shaping.
  • Comfortable using product usage data and VOC insights to inform strategy.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
