Job summary
At DigiCert we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We're looking for a talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and is skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the company, you will be expected to take requests and convert them into a design that supports our marketing goals. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing and be able to develop the right style and layout for every project while maintaining brand integrity.
What you will do
- Develop visual concepts, layouts, and designs for various media, including print, digital, and video.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, provide designs, and incorporate feedback.
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrate strong artistic skills, including knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain a high standard of quality.
- Adapt designs for various formats and channels, including print, digital, and social media.
- Communicate design ideas effectively to stakeholders and team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends and explore new technologies and design approaches.
What you will have
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
- 5+ years of experience (academic and professional) with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver), Figma.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to continue building skill set with education and training.
- Knowledge of web content management systems.
Nice to have
- 3+ years of experience in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline.
- Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript.
