ROLE SUMMARY:
We’re seeking a digitally native, forward-thinking Graphic Designer with deep expertise in eCommerce and AI-driven design tools to enhance our paid media, email marketing, and acquisition efforts—while also supporting broader brand initiatives across all channels. This role merges creative excellence with cutting-edge AI capabilities to streamline production, optimize design performance, and enable scale through automation and intelligent systems. This is a very unique creative role—equal parts builder, thinker, and doer—ideal for someone excited to drive impact, deploy and share technology, and help shape the next chapter of a bold, beloved brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own design execution of high-impact visuals for performance-driving channels (Meta, Google, display, programmatic) and email marketing
  • Create strategic, consumer-first designs that drive engagement and conversion while remaining true to our tone and brand identity
  • Develop & maintain scalable design systems and templates for performance marketing, email, and acquisition flows
  • Integrate AI-powered tools (e.g. text-to-image, layout assist, content versioning) into the creative workflow to improve design efficiency, speed, personalization and ideation
  • Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Growth Marketing, Lifecycle and Project Managers to test and optimize creatives based on data-driven insights
  • Support creative concepting with Senior Designers and leadership, transforming ideas into high-impact visuals
  • Represent work in creative reviews and refine it with clear rationale and responsiveness to feedback
  • Balance multiple priorities across quick-turn projects and larger campaigns, maintaining speed and quality
  • Stay up-to-date on performance design trends, tools, AI innovations, and ecommerce best practices
  • Educate and support internal teams on best practices for using AI in design, including workshops, documentation, and peer coaching

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred
  • 3+ years of design experience, ideally within ecommerce, CPG, or performance-driven consumer brands
  • Deep familiarity using AI tools and platforms to generate a high volume of creative assets (e.g. Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway ML, Figma AI, ChatGPT)
  • Strong experience with and knowledge of best practices for email and acquisition design (Meta, Google, display, programmatic)
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; experience with motion graphics is expected
  • Strong portfolio showcasing web, email, marketing, and brand design work
  • Strong visual eye, strategic thinking, and communication skills
  • Highly collaborative and adaptable, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment

NICE-TO-HAVE:

  • Experience with marketing automation and ecommerce platforms (Klaviyo, Braze, HubSpot, Shopify etc.).
  • Video/motion design skills or familiarity with AI video tools
  • HTML/CSS knowledge for email design implementation
  • Content creation skills for social media, short-form video, or branded storytelling

POSITION TYPE:
This is a full-time exempt position.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position can be either hybrid, occasionally working in our new Durham, NC office, or fully remote.

SALARY:
$100,000-$120,000 + Bonus
