Graphic Designer/Art Director, Homesense

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer/Art Director to help bring this vision to life with an elevated aesthetic, original thinking, and flawless execution, someone who thinks strategically and conceptually and can create work that is bold, engaging and unmistakably Homesense!
Who We Are Looking For: You.
- Collaborate closely with copywriters, designers, supervisors and ACD to concept and develop ideas and designs grounded in our brand positioning
- Complete design work with exceptional craft and uncompromising quality
- Work within an evolving visual identity with the ability to self-direct execution across all channels; social, email, print, OOH, video
- Easily adapt to a high-paced, quick workflow, while remaining flexible, nimble and positive
- Continually test, try and evolve marketing content
- In-store content creation: ability to capture photos and video that meet in-store photography standards and guidelines
Qualifications
- 2-4+ years of graphic design or art direction experience
- Bachelor of Fine Art in Graphic Design degree or equivalent job experience
- An outstanding online portfolio of your work (this one’s non-negotiable) – please make sure to include the link to your portfolio in your application/on your resume
- Strong design aesthetic and type design skills
- Highly skilled in Adobe Suite, Figma experience a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects with changing demands
- Knowledge of organizing and directing photo shoots
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good home fashion "eye"
- Understanding of marketing strategies and customer behaviors
- A passion for great design and creative in all channels and categories
- Conceptual and strategic ability to connect creative work to brand and business objectives
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly communicate ideas
- Ability to collaborate and value being part of a team
- Creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit, motivated by the possibilities that come with a growing challenger brand.

This position is hybrid requiring at least two days per week in the Framingham, MA office and is not open to remote.
