POSITION DESCRIPTION: Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. is seeking a Government Pricing Analyst I with the following duties: perform the end-to-end calculation of monthly and quarterly submission of product information, pricing information and other pertinent data to federal agencies, including calculating and reporting the quarterly Best Price (BP), monthly and quarterly Average Manufacturers Price (AMP), quarterly Average Sale Price (ASP) and quarterly Public Health Service (PHS). Manage and organize large amounts of data for pricing calculations; Coordinate with Commercial Contracts group, Legal, and Internal Audit to ensure compliance with the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003, the Deficit Reduction Act of 2007, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act and the FAA Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act. Keep up to date on all applicable CMS releases relating to pricing calculations; Partner with Commercial Contracts to understand current contracting activities; Partner with others to ensure smooth operation of the GP system; Ensure submission of pricing information within the statutory time frames - Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), state agencies as required by statute (i.e. NY EPIC) and/or contract (i.e. Texas Supplemental). Communicate pricing results to various government agencies and internal departments as required by statute or contract. Investigate and resolve any issues on CMS variance reports. Up to 60% remote work allowed.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, plus 18 months of related experience. Prior experience must include: run and analyze customer sales data using Salesforce; maintain and optimize data infrastructure to support data consistency and accessibility; build and test a CRM data pipeline using data visualization tools; conduct statistical analyses and deliver actionable insights on market trends and profit growth opportunities; perform the end-to-end calculation of monthly and quarterly submission of pricing information and calculate various government prices using Helix and Flex.
