About Tutor

We believe general-purpose, generally-intelligent robots will be built in our lifetimes. Robots will work in our factories, move our goods, walk on our streets and eventually be in our homes. To build that future, research and deployment must work in lockstep: real-world operation must make the technology better and better technology must make deployment easier. We're looking for the thinkers, builders, and researchers who want to be part of that loop.

As an AI software company that deploys its inventions directly into the facilities that need them, on state-of-the-art hardware, every line of code written at Tutor has a direct impact on the global, physical economy.

    Our Culture

We believe that something truly special can happen when talented, motivated people work together; at Tutor, every member of our team is empowered to have real impact in everything that they do. We’re characterized by both technical excellence and next-level collaboration and respect.

About the Role

Are you a recruiter who thrives in fast-moving environments and gets energized by finding the right person for a hard-to-fill role? At Tutor Intelligence, we're building the commercial and customer-facing teams that bring cutting-edge robotics AI to market — and we need a sharp, full-cycle recruiter to help us do it.

Tutor is deploying robotics AI into factories and warehouses across the country, and the people who make that happen on the ground — AEs, SDRs, Customer Success Managers, Deployment Managers — are critical to our growth. As our CX/GTM Recruiter, you'll own the full recruiting lifecycle for these roles: sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closing. You'll partner closely with hiring managers across our GTM and Customer Experience teams, and report into the Head of People Strategy.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, communicative, and deeply candidate-focused. You know how to build a pipeline from scratch, move candidates through a process without losing them, and represent a company's mission in a way that makes people genuinely excited to join. You take seriously the fact that you're often the first person a candidate ever talks to at Tutor — you understand that every interaction is a reflection of who we are, and you bring the same care and intentionality to a first outreach message as you do to closing an offer.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on GTM or CX roles (AEs, SDRs, Customer Success, or similar)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously without dropping the ball on candidate experience
  • Strong sourcing skills — you're not waiting for inbound applicants, you're going to find the right people
  • Clear, compelling communicator — in writing and on the phone
  • Organized and process-oriented; you keep the ATS clean and hiring managers informed
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (we currently use Lever)
  •
Nice to Haves (Zero or More)
  • Experience recruiting at an early-stage startup (Series A–C)
  • Background in industrial tech, manufacturing, or operations-heavy businesses
  • Familiarity with both sales and post-sales hiring (the full commercial org)
  • Network in Boston/Cambridge GTM or operations talent communities

What You'll Own

  • Full-cycle recruiting for GTM and CX roles — AEs, SDRs, Customer Success Managers, Deployment Managers, and more as we grow
  • Building and maintaining active pipelines for key roles, balancing inbound and outbound sourcing
  • Partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements, align on profiles, and move searches forward efficiently
  • Delivering a candidate experience that reflects Tutor's culture and values at every touchpoint
  • Keeping recruiting data and reporting current in Lever
  • Partnering with the People Ops Manager to ensure a smooth handoff from offer acceptance to day one, so every new hire feels set up for success before they even walk in the door

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
