About the role:

Join Takeda as the Global Talent Acquisition Capabilities and External Innovation Lead at the Associate Director level. This role will report to the Head of Global Talent Acquisition Solutions & Innovations and is located in Lexington, MA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in advanced analytics methods, data optimization, AI, and emerging technology. You will be responsible for understanding talent acquisition needs and requirements for analytics, data optimization, AI, and tech evaluation projects.
How you will contribute:
- Understand Talent needs and requirements for analytics, data optimization, AI, and tech evaluation projects.
- Lead technical talent acquisition projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with the vision and objectives.
- Utilize technical expertise to develop and implement innovative recruitment and retention strategies to attract top talent.
- Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluate new emerging technology and AI trends.
- Establish an integrated talent acquisition data pipeline in collaboration with internal teams to inform research projects and the productization of advanced analytics tools.
- Support the introduction and optimization of Gen AI usage in Talent Acquisition with a deep understanding of large language models, machine learning, data optimization, and statistics.
- Conduct research and experimental projects in partnership with analytics and measurement resources within Talent Management.
- Prototype data products to operationalize analytics output in support of Talent Acquisition business objectives.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- PhD in a technical field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or Robotics preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in data science or a related technical role, with a focus on analytics, data optimization, AI, or technology evaluation.
- Proven track record of successfully leading technical projects and initiatives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with technology infrastructure and technology stacks: (Optional additional detail) Experience with data-centric programming languages (e.g. R, Python), data visualization tools (e.g. ggplot, Tableau, R Shiny), database and data manipulation tools and infrastructures (e.g. SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, DBT), and software engineering tools (e.g. git / version control).
- Deep understanding of data mining techniques.
- Deep understanding of advanced research methods and statistical concepts.
- History of developing and deploying data analytics products.

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$149,100.00 - $234,300.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
