Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute commodity and supplier strategy that will optimize supplier's quality, service, and cost; support, design and develop of supplier strategy
  • Develop Supplier relationships by routinely engaging with Supplier's key business leaders and communicating Chamberlain Group KPIs, initiatives and other business requirements
  • Partner with Program Managers, Marketing and Engineering to drive New Product Development throughout the development and launch phases; provide technical sourcing leadership for the team
  • Create, update and negotiate provisions of supplier contractual agreements to ensure compliance with Chamberlain Group's terms and conditions
  • Manage risk by maintaining knowledge of factors affecting costs such as industry and technology trends, geo-political influences, up- stream and related market cost reduction opportunities
  • Communicate relevant project and parts or product lifecycle information cross-functionally to keep the business stakeholders up to date with the latest supplier or industry information
  • Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning with cross functional teams
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years in Sourcing; 0-3 years of people or project management
  • Material Requirements or Enterprise Resource Planning; contract negotiations
  • Able to travel up to 30% - domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or Supply Chain
  • Experience with International Suppliers
  • SAP; proficient in Spanish or Mandarin
The pay range for this position is $93,931.00 - $155,140.50; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
