As a Business Analysis Associate I within J.P. Morgan's Global Screening Operations, you will be responsible for data gathering, analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of testing programs in accordance with JPMorgan Compliance Guidelines. Your role will also involve regular reviews of procedures, risk assessment, and process improvement. As a Business Analysis Associate I within J.P. Morgan's Global Screening Operations, you will be responsible for data gathering, analysis, and reporting. Job responsibilities:
- Work with Global Screening Operations (GSO) Calibration partners/stakeholder for timely completion of the testing Programs in accordance with JPMorgan Compliance Guidelines.
- Perform independent testing, draw conclusions, and present those conclusions to relevant stakeholders as it relates to the Sanction Screening Environment.
- Utilize project resources effectively to deliver results by a targeted date; able to multitask and leverage skills across a diverse slate of screening functions in activities related to business management support.
- Review processes and performance with focus on improving departmental competency / performance rating.
- Review procedures assuring new processes are documented and identify business knowledge gaps and ensure awareness within the GSO Calibration group.
- Assist the management team in risk assessment for process and recommend implement controls, including Identify areas where efficiency can be gained within process.
- Create presentations and present in the Business reviews, Filter Governance meetings and such forums.
- Deliver expected work with sense of urgency and provide periodic updates on the status to management and program owner.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally & externally and at all levels.
- Capability of working / partnering with Technology, Risk, Audit and Compliance to ensure that the overall organizational objectives are met.
- Strong analytical skills who uses creative problem-solving techniques to solve business issues.
- Have a proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues, and having the determination to follow through while escalating issues as appropriate.
- Highly skilled in use of MS Office applications: Excel ( Pivot, Charts, Macros, and VBA script), PowerPoint, MS Access (VBA script)
- Proven ability to build strong business relationships across multiple site and businesses.
- Prior experience in Sanctions Screening for Transactions and Client
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated ability to use Oracle, MS SQL Server, Alteryx
- Knowledge of Sanctions Screening Applications e.g. Fircosoft
