We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Product Manager who is responsible for their product category business, including strategy, P&L, roadmap, and pricing. This person will combine deep expertise in laser technology, software development, ERP integration, and user experience (UX) design. They will work closely with engineering, operations, strategic sourcing, channel management, and marketing to define, develop, implement, and maintain the value proposition around the product line, incorporating product lifecycle management and marketing requirements to meet customer expectations. This person will conduct VOC and market research to build a strategic roadmap that will ensure product relevance, innovative advancements, and meet revenue goals. They will work with research and development (internal or external teams) to define, build, and launch new products, having a direct impact on Brady’s global portfolio of industrial marking products, working with teams across engineering, product management, and customer support.

Preferred Qualifications
- Owns product category strategy and P&L to achieve revenue, margin, and profit goals, along with the product lifecycle strategy.
- Develops and implements new product roadmaps based on customer voice and market research, emphasizing technical feasibility and innovation.
- Develops and executes pricing strategies, considering technical costs and market value, and maintains market position through competitive technical review.
- Develops comprehensive knowledge of market segments and competitive technical environments to drive action across Sales, Marketing, and R&D.
- Collaborates with Engineering, Operations, and Strategic Sourcing on cost-out initiatives to maintain market competitiveness.
- Partners with Marketing Communications on materials and launch plans, and develops marketing and sales strategies highlighting technical differentiators.
- Collaborates with channel management, provides technical expertise, and is responsible for training internal and external partners on the product line.
- Collaborates with engineering teams to design, develop, and optimize software for laser marking systems, leveraging expertise in laser physics and integration.
- Partners with development teams to support user workflow automation, firmware, and customization, and leads the integration of laser marking systems with ERP platforms for seamless data exchange.
- Works closely with developers on intuitive software interfaces, benchmarks UX against competitors, and collaborates with UX designers and customer support to translate feedback into innovative features.
