Summary
Guidewire is currently seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist to provide support to ensure successful execution of multiple marketing programs that include but are not limited to Guidewire Insurance Forum, as well as demand generation campaigns,.. One of the main responsibilities will be to manage all sponsor partnerships for the Guidewire Insurance Forums in Europe, Japan, and Australia. This role is responsible for overseeing the full sponsorship lifecycle — from prospectus creation to on-site sponsor support — ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for our partners and delivering strong value for both sponsors and Guidewire.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Support overall execution of demand generation activities from concept and strategy creation to planning and execution. Includes event operations, logistics, communications, staffing assignments, budget management, post-event impact analysis and agency/contractor management.
Sponsorship Prospectus Development: Create, update, and manage the annual sponsorship prospectus, ensuring packages are aligned with event goals and market expectations.
Contract Management: Build and manage online sponsorship contracts, track signatures, and ensure compliance across all regions.
Sponsor Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sponsorship commitments, deliverables, and deadlines.
Partner Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all sponsors once their participation is confirmed, providing timely updates and guidance.
Sponsor Enablement: Develop and manage resources such as the Sponsor Event Guide and coordinate “Sponsor Success Office Hours” to answer questions and drive engagement.
Follow-ups & Reminders: Proactively manage deadlines, sending reminders and ensuring sponsors remain on track with their submissions and deliverables.
Logistics & Deliverables: Ensure sponsors are kept fully informed of all event logistics, including delivery timelines, shipping instructions, and on-site requirements. Provide clear guidance and reminders so that sponsors can meet deadlines and have a smooth, well-prepared experience at the event.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the event organizers, alliances and accounting to ensure smooth sponsor integration and communication across all GIF events.
On-Site Coordination: Support sponsor needs during events, ensuring a smooth experience and capturing feedback to improve future editions.
Data Analysis Collect feedback and metrics to forecast trends that improve future activity and support ROI. Measure marketing impact and evaluate event/campaign performance to drive continuous improvement and improve the overall effectiveness of marketing
Skills
Ability to anticipate future needs without prompting from management
A proactive communicator with an ability to work in a fast paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation both internally and externally and to to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive a project or programme to success
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and planning skills, detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, and time management
Requirements
Willingness to travel 20-35%
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, or equivalent
Fluent in French
Languages are a plus
