This role is a hybrid position
Some roles require an office while others may be done remotely. This position is considered hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote work and in-office collaboration. Qualified applicants must live within commuting distance of our Boston or Seattle office locations.

As the Global Marketing Analytics Manager, you will be a crucial individual contributor within the Marketing Transformation & Operations team. You'll use your expertise to analyze a multitude of marketing inputs and outputs, democratizing data through the creation of integrated frameworks, testing agendas, and dashboards. You will manage and partner with agency resources to deliver deep, actionable insights that inform our strategic decisions and tactical optimizations across all global markets. Your analytical prowess will directly shape how we measure success and drive the next chapter of Sonos’ growth.

What you'll do

  • Global Marketing Analytics & Insights.

  • Serve as the global subject matter expert for marketing analytics, providing a unified and comprehensive view of our brand and campaign performance across all channels and regions.

  • Analyze a multitude of marketing inputs and outputs to generate deep, actionable insights, translating complex findings into clear, concise, and compelling recommendations for marketing leadership and cross-functional partners.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of robust measurement frameworks to evaluate the ROI of marketing campaigns and initiatives, utilizing econometrics models, incrementality solutions, and modern attribution.

  • Data Democratization & Technology.

  • Lead efforts to democratize marketing data by creating and maintaining integrated dashboards and data visualizations that provide self-service access to key insights across the organization.

  • Define and champion the strategic roadmap for our marketing analytics technology stack, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of data for a holistic view of customer journeys and campaign performance.

  • Develop and manage the marketing analytics testing agenda to inform strategic decisions and optimize global campaign performance.

  • Agency & Cross-Functional Collaboration.

  • Manage and partner with agency resources, providing clear direction and oversight to ensure deliverables are high-quality and aligned with business objectives.

  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and finance teams to ensure data pipelines and tools are robust, scalable, and meet the evolving needs of the marketing organization.

  • Serve as a key strategic partner to marketing leaders and regional teams, advising on data-driven approaches to optimize marketing spend and resource allocation

What you'll need

  • 5-7+ years of experience in a hands-on, dedicated marketing analytics or a similar data-focused role.

  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing measurement, including attribution modeling, econometrics (MMM), and campaign performance analysis.

  • Strong proficiency in leveraging analytical tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Python/R, BI tools like Tableau/Looker) to extract and analyze data.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Superior communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus, but not required.

  • Experience in the consumer electronics or technology industry is a bonus.

  • Hands-on knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) use cases for business and marketing.

  • Previous experience championing data privacy and compliance across marketing initiatives, ensuring adherence to global regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD) and emerging AI-specific privacy frameworks to build trust and mitigate risk.

The base pay range for this role based off geographic location is:

$119,000 and $148,400

The specific pay offered will depend on the candidate’s geographic location, as well as qualifications and experience. We apply geographic pay differentials based on the cost of labor in the market.  Employees in high-cost locations may be compensated at the upper end of the range, while those in medium or low cost markets may be compensated at the lower end of  the range. Your recruiter can provide more details about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
