Global Market Development Manager, Automated & Cryogenic Storage
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Market Development (GMD) Manager for our Automated and Cryogenic Storage Solutions portfolio to join our team. The GMD Manager will drive the go-to-market strategy, growth, and adoption of our portfolio and will work closely with marketing leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and measure strategic marketing plans and tactics globally using a customer-centric approach, helping to drive awareness, consideration, and purchase.
- Conduct detailed analyses of customer segments, competitor activity, business trends, and market opportunities in partnership with product management.
- Ensure alignment with business strategy and goals as defined by the business leadership team.
- Develop market launch strategy, implementation and sustaining plans supporting new product introductions to achieve revenue goals.
- Drive incorporation of the product portfolio into broader customer workflows and customer journeys.
- Optimize and develop engaging digital marketing content, including web, video, social media, programmatic display, paid search, and email automation.
- Lead participation in key industry and company-organized conferences, webinars, and virtual events, finding opportunities to showcase products and data.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute strategic insight and content related to pan-Azenta campaigns (like CGT, etc.).
- Collaborate with commercial and regional colleagues to ensure sales enablement effectiveness.
- Assist with development of sales training and customer education material in collaboration with product management, R&D, and commercial teams.
- Oversee campaign reporting and lead generation funnels driven by marketing activities.
-Interact with senior leadership related to marketing strategy and results.
-Assist with key strategic projects as identified by marketing leadership in support of a customer-first approach and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology OR business, marketing, engineering or a related field with experience in life sciences, biotechnology, or biopharma sectors. M.S, Ph.D., or MBA is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in developing marketing strategies and implementing marketing plans that drive demand for products and/or services in the life sciences market.
- Demonstrated ability developing strategic go-to-market plans to drive global adoption of new products and services.
- Proficiency in digital marketing with experience that includes display advertising, search engine marketing and optimization, social media, and automation approaches.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable interacting with internal and external audiences, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed organization as a collaborative partner who can influence across functional teams and geographies.
- Ability to translate performance metrics into impactful business decisions and a continuous improvement mindset.
