Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a lean champion and an innovative thought leader for engineering, focused on driving standardization, simplification and digitalization for the product development lifecycle.
- Work closely with exponential technology teams, including AI and Robotics, to ensure deployment, adoption, sustained usage, and measurable value capture for these technologies across engineering, manufacturing and functional organizations.
- Facilitate cross-functional kaizen events focused on high-impact areas. Ensure standard work, root cause analysis, and sustainable countermeasures are embedded.
- Capture and disseminate best practices across GE Vernova’s portfolio. Act as a knowledge integrator to support replication of successful approaches.
- Work with business units and people operations to develop the required talent profile, engineering skillsets and strategy for meeting GE Vernova’s engineering talent needs for the next decade. This includes hiring strategies, reskilling/upskilling, refining and standardizing the EEDP program, and engagement with universities to ensure a strong inflow of talent.
- Support co-ordination of critical activities across the CTO organization when required.
- Work with DT to develop and implement a robust reporting infrastructure across the end-to-end product development lifecycle, extracting data from appropriate systems to provide real time actionable insights on our product development efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide valuable insights and direction on opportunities for investments, synergies and enhancements across the engineering operations.
- Support CTO organization with hands-on quality improvement projects aligned to strategic priorities and Hoshin Kanri (Strategy Deployment) objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant field/discipline.
- 10+ years of experience working across engineering, operations and manufacturing, supply chain and sales, with a proven track record influencing across the end-to-end product development process.
- Lean practitioner with proven experience leading quality and Lean transformation initiatives in complex industrial environments.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate kaizen events and deploy standard work to create successful sustainable changes.
- Some familiarity with ISO 9001, APQP, and other quality management systems.
- Hands-on experience with RCA tools, and operational excellence frameworks.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

The salary range for this position is $197,600 to $296,400 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s geographic location, experience, education, skill set, and work location. This position is also eligible for variable incentive compensation and equity. Benefits include health and additional benefits.
