Your Impact
As a Global Customer Manager, you will:

  • Own and nurture OEM customer partnerships across every stage of the customer and project lifecycle.
  • Drive strategic growth and ensure the continued success of existing business by developing and executing strategies that deliver on current year key account metrics, while shaping the long-range sales plan through integrated product and pricing strategies that reflect customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams—from Technical Sales to Engineering and Marketing—to deliver innovative solutions and drive business results.
  • Identify new opportunities and create engagement plans (site visits, demonstrations, tech shows, strategy and innovation sessions) that foster advocacy and loyalty across multiple levels of the customer. 
  • Lead negotiations relating to contract terms and conditions, upholding Bose’s commitment to quality and integrity while owning our future as a fiercely independent company.
  • Represent Bose’s expertise and vision at high-level customer meetings and strategic events, embodying our values of excellence and partnership.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy, pricing, and maintain our competitive edge.
  • Mentor and coach teams on customer culture, expectations, and best practices, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
     

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in customer management, account planning, product planning, sales, business development, strategic marketing, or engineering.
  • Proven leadership of account managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Deep expertise in automotive electronics, software-based systems, and audio technologies; experience with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or infotainment/audio providers is highly valued.
  • Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and client management skills.
  • Strategic mindset, resilience, and a passion for challenging the status quo to drive business growth.
  • Strong focus on metrics, data, and financial results.

Travel:

  • Weekly visits to local customer sites
  • 3-6 trips per year to visit Bose HQ, other Bose offices, auto shows, trade shows, regional customer sites, etc.

Reporting:

Position will report to the North American Sales Director.

The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan is: $168,500-$231,725.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
