The Opportunity
We, at Flywire, are seeking a Global Billing and Receivables Manager to lead and transform our billing and collections operations. Through organic and inorganic growth, Flywire has a large portfolio of clients to bill monthly, quarterly and annually. This role will partner with FP&A, Treasury and Credit Risk to monitor agings and cash collections to drive free cash flows.
- Own global SaaS and transactional billing operations, including subscription lifecycle management (new sales, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations), usage-based billing, and contract amendments.
- Partner closely with Sales, Pricing, RevOps, and Legal to resolve billing issues, pricing discrepancies, and contract interpretation questions.
- Reduce billing errors, credits, and rework through strong upstream controls and process discipline.
- Partner with IT to drive automation of billing and cash application.
- Oversee global accounts receivable and collections for a rapidly growing customer base, including enterprise, mid-market, and SMB segments.
- Act as a key business owner for billing platforms and ERP systems (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce).
- Monitor AR aging, DSO, churn-related exposure, and bad debt reserves; proactively address collection risks.
- Partner with Customer Success and Sales to manage disputes, renewals at risk, and escalated customer payment issues.
- Collaborate with credit risk to develop and maintain collections policy and client risk rating.
Here's what we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (CPA a plus).
- Proven billing and collections experience in a rapidly growing company.
- 8–12 years of progressive experience in billing, accounts receivable, or order-to-cash functions, with significant experience in a SaaS or technology environment.
- 3+ years of people management experience, including leading global or distributed teams.
- Deep understanding of SaaS billing models, including subscription, usage-based, tiered, and hybrid pricing.
- Hands-on experience with SaaS and transactional billing and ERP systems (Workday, Stripe Billing, NetSuite, Salesforce).
- Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition, internal controls, and audit requirements.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $200,000-$230,000 and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and several other factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education and training.
