A leader from the CRO, Life Science, or Regulatory Consulting space who understands that growth doesn’t happen to an organization — it happens through its people, and through the leaders who model the behavior they expect.
You will shape the next chapter of VCLS in the US:
- growing a values-driven consulting business,
- strengthening the culture that energizes it, and
- helping deliver scientific innovation to the patients who depend on it.

What You’ll DoHands-On Business Development & Market Leadership- Personally lead high-impact business development efforts — from opening doors to closing strategic partnerships.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with biotech, pharma, medtech, and investor communities.
- Act as the face and voice of VCLS in the US, positioning us as a strategic partner across regulatory, clinical, and evidence-generation solutions.
- Generate opportunities that connect the US market to the broader VCLS global ecosystem.
- Define and execute the US strategy in alignment with global ambitions.
- Drive financial performance, sustainable growth, and operational excellence.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, science-grounded consulting services.
- Collaborate closely with global leadership to share knowledge, optimize resources, and strengthen our cross-continental impact.
- Inspire, empower, and coach consulting and BD teams to do the best work of their careers.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Senior leader with a proven track record in Life Sciences consulting, regulatory strategy, clinical development, or adjacent fields.
- Demonstrated success in business development and strategic client acquisition at the C-suite level.
- Well-established network within US Biotech, MedTech, Pharma, and investment communities.
- Strategic thinker capable of shaping market positioning and growth strategy.
- Inspirational people leader who has built, coached, and retained high-performing teams in global, matrixed organizations.
- Strong financial acumen with prior P&L accountability.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the presence and credibility to represent VCLS externally.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related discipline; MBA or business qualifications are a plus.
