At Offchain Labs, we aren’t just building products: we’re leading a movement.

As pioneers in blockchain scalability and security, we're at the forefront of transforming how the world interacts with decentralized applications. We're laying the foundation that will define the next generation of digital commerce, governance, and human interaction. This involves tackling real-world challenges that come with scaling blockchain technology, without compromising on its core principles: decentralization, security and transparency.

At the center of this vision is our people. Our team is made up of thinkers and doers that embrace new challenges and seek solutions that push existing boundaries. If you’re energized by solving unprecedented problems, and believe in the role that decentralized systems will play in creating a more equitable digital future, then we want to hear from you.

Why Offchain Labs?

Offchain Labs is setting the pace for the entire Ethereum ecosystem. We built the Arbitrum stack that powers Arbitrum One, the most widely adopted Ethereum scaling solution that exists today.

Arbitrum’s ecosystem is undergoing tremendous growth with hundreds of projects and dApps on Arbitrum One today. Over 100 different teams have used Offchain Labs technology to build their own Arbitrum chains. Major players in the space, Robinhood, BlackRock, Ethena Labs, Securitize, Aave, and Apechain are all using the Arbitrum stack.

Arbitrum’s thriving ecosystem wouldn’t exist without our advanced technology stack. Arbitrum, Prysm, ZeroDev. These aren’t just product names. These are tools that are actively reshaping what's possible on Ethereum and advancing its core infrastructure.

To top it all off? We’re backed by $124 million in funding. We’ve demonstrated consistent execution with billions in secured value, thousands of supported projects, and infrastructure processing millions of transactions seamlessly.

The Role:

  • Offchain Labs seeks a General Manager, Platform to own the product strategy and growth of the company’s blockchain development platform. The ideal GM is a leader who can seamlessly navigate technical complexity, commercial strategy, and team management while maintaining deep customer focus and driving measurable business outcomes in the rapidly evolving blockchain ecosystem.

What You’ll Do:

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and own the end-to-end product strategy for OCL’s blockchain platform, inclusive of services ranging from chain deployment, to smart account infrastructure, to novel protocol developments. Develop and manage a compelling product vision that balances rapid iteration with commercial viability.
  • Product Development & Launch: Oversee the full product development lifecycle – from user research, customer validation, concept prototyping, and design, through development, testing, and public launch. Manage a growing portfolio of products that power the most compelling onchain experiences.
  • Customer Focus & Product Excellence: Maintain a razor sharp focus on delivering value to teams building onchain applications. Work directly with our users and customers to shape industry-leading products, and serve as a key stakeholder in the sales and business development process. Ensure that everything we ship as part of our platform offering is class-leading with no compromises on security, performance, or ease-of-use.
  • Cross-Functional Management: Build and lead a high-performing organization including product and design teams; coordinating closely with engineering leads. As a business unit leader, coordinate cross-functionally with Legal/Compliance (to navigate evolving crypto regulations), Security, Marketing, and Partnerships. Manage the Platform team’s KPIs and budgets, and communicate progress to OCL leadership.
  • Commercial & Ecosystem Responsibilities: Develop the commercial strategy (e.g. potential revenue streams, growth and go-to-market strategies) and success metrics for our platform offering. Forge partnerships within the Arbitrum and broader Ethereum ecosystem to drive impact across our products. Represent the product(s) externally as a thought leader – evangelizing our offering at industry events, and with key partners or early adopters, to drive adoption and trust.

Who You Are:

  • Proven Product Leadership: 10+ years in product management with 5+ years at a senior leadership level (Director, Head of Product, VP, or General Manager). Demonstrated success launching and scaling a platform or SaaS business – ideally within crypto or financial technology – from the ground up to large user bases (e.g. from 0 to hundreds of customers).
  • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of digital wallets, payments, or Web3 products. Experience in consumer fintech (digital banking, payment apps, etc.) or crypto is required – mixed Web2/Web3 experience is a plus. Familiarity with blockchain tech, Ethereum ecosystem, and self-custody wallets is highly desirable, or a strong ability to learn these quickly.
  • UI/UX & Design Sense: A keen product design sensibility with a user-centric approach. Track record of delivering products known for excellent usability and clean UX. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, elegant user experiences (for example, abstracting away blockchain complexities for everyday users). Strong acumen for bringing production-grade products to market and maintaining quality over time with improvements and new releases.
  • Strategic and Commercial Acumen: Visionary mindset to shape product strategy aligned with company goals, paired with data-driven decision-making. Understands product metrics, growth funnels, and can define OKRs. Business savvy to identify market opportunities. Experience defining go-to-market strategies and driving user growth/engagement metrics is important.
  • Leadership & Execution Skills: Strong people leader able to recruit and build a diverse team. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Has led cross-functional teams and can coordinate between technical, creative, and business stakeholders. Exceptional communication skills to articulate vision and strategy to both internal teams and external partners/users.

Perks:

  • Remote-first global workforce + NY office
  • Annual company offsite + team onsites
  • Professional reimbursement program (facilitates industry conference attendance, certifications, and more)
  • Medical, dental & vision coverage (US + some other countries)
  • 401k retirement plan + company match (US only)
  • Wellness stipend
  • Home office set up / ergonomic equipment program
