About EliseAI
EliseAI develops cutting-edge agentic AI technology for industries fundamental to our lives: housing and healthcare. Everything is built on the foundation of health and home. Broken systems or ineffective processes in these domains have a disproportionate impact on our quality of life and society’s overall wellbeing. Conversely, any solution or technology that solves problems in these areas will have an impact that ripples far beyond them.
That’s the only kind of impact we are interested in having at EliseAI. If you get excited by the thought of working really hard on these kinds of problems, then EliseAI is the right place for you.
About The Role
As the Head of Healthcare at EliseAI, you’ll be the P&L owner for a high-growth “startup within a startup.” You will own every aspect of building and scaling the healthcare unit — from defining market strategy and driving sales, to shaping the product roadmap and ensuring operational excellence.
You’ll lead a small but growing high-performing team and work closely with our executive leadership to position EliseAI as a market leader in healthcare automation. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role where you will both set vision and roll up your sleeves to execute.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the healthcare unit, including market selection, positioning, and go-to-market priorities
Own the P&L for the healthcare business, managing revenue, costs, and overall profitability
Identify new market opportunities, validate business cases, and prioritize high-impact initiatives
Sales & Customer Engagement
Actively participate in key sales efforts, from prospecting to closing deals, alongside our sales team
Build strong relationships with customers, deeply understanding their workflows and validating product/feature ideas
Represent EliseAI at industry events, conferences, and key client meetings
Product & Operations
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design, build, and launch solutions that solve meaningful problems in healthcare
Partner with operations to ensure a seamless onboarding and support experience for customers
Set clear goals and metrics for product adoption, customer satisfaction, and retention
Team Leadership
Lead and develop a high-performing cross-functional team (currently under 25 members, with plans to grow significantly)
Foster a culture of accountability, urgency, and results
Attract and retain top-tier talent across all functions
Requirements
8+ years of professional experience, including leadership roles at early-stage startups and in high-growth environments
Track record of managing a high-performing team and driving business results
Consulting background (MBB or similar) is a plus
Exposure to the healthcare industry is preferred, but not required
Technical background (degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field) is a plus
Strong operator with both strategic vision and hands-on execution skills
Relentless, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity
Willingness to work in person at our office 5 days a week
Why Join
Growth and impact. It’s not often that you can get in on the ground floor of a funded (unicorn!) startup that’s scaling. That means that instead of following a playbook, you’ll be writing it. Every single day you will be challenged to identify how we can scale and execute on it. You’ll learn what works when you succeed and what doesn’t when you fail. Either way, the rest of the team will be here to support you.
Benefits
In addition to the growth and impact you’ll have at EliseAI, we offer competitive salaries along with the following benefits:
Equity in the company in the form of stock options
Medical, Dental and Vision premiums covered at 100%
Fully paid parental leave
Commuter benefits
401k benefits
Monthly fitness stipend
A collaborative in-office environment with an open floor plan, fully stocked kitchen, and company-paid lunch
Fun company social events through our Elise and the City program
Unlimited vacation and paid holidays
We'll cover relocation packages and make the move exciting, not painful!
Job Compensation Range
The salary range for this role is $250,000 - $350,000. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation is determined based on a number of factors including experience, skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided by our Recruiting Team during the hiring process.
