As General Counsel, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer. You will work with departments across the company, both within the US and globally, to provide leadership and advice on a wide range of industry and commercial legal matters.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and lead the company's legal strategy and risk management
  • Ensure compliance across all jurisdictions where the company operates
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex B2B SaaS agreements, master service agreements (MSAs), data processing agreements (DPAs), and vendor contracts, ensuring terms protect the company's interests while facilitating a streamlined sales cycle
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and security teams to identify and mitigate legal risks related to data protection, intellectual property (IP), and the handling of sensitive data across all product development and service delivery
  • Partner cross-functionally to understand business needs, improve processes, and provide right-sized legal support to enable the achievement of corporate goals
  • Develop and drive policies and procedures designed to enhance regulatory and business standards compliance and support the company’s objectives
  • Supervise and coordinate with outside counsel as necessary

RequirementsMinimum/Preferred Qualifications
  • JD from an accredited law school and a member in good standing of the candidate’s state of residence State Bar Association
  • 10 - 15+ years relevant legal experience through a combination of large law firm and in-house roles at life science or technology companies.
  • Senior leadership experience
  • Experience with complex and high dollar  enterprise contracts is required, experience with the life sciences industry is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of the software and SaaS sector is essential, along with a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory environment of the pharmaceutical or life sciences industries
  • Experience counseling technology product teams, especially those building B2B products and services
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and managing a high volume of complex legal matters in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and client counseling skills

The salary range for this position is $280,000-$400,000. The salary range posted reflects our target baseline for this role. Final compensation is determined by a thorough evaluation of factors including the candidate’s specific experience, localized market data, and internal team equity.
