We are seeking a strategic, hands-on, and client-facing Generative AI Consultant to support our growing portfolio of AI-driven solutions. In this role, you will ideate and shape solution proposals and take ownership of delivering impactful GenAI solutions from conception to deployment. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of managed AI projects that drive real business value.

Responsibilities:
Engage with clients to understand their business challenges, technical environments, and opportunities for Generative AI applications.
Facilitate discovery sessions, gather detailed requirements, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead the design and development of GenAI solutions, working hands-on with tools, models, and code to prototype and build end-to-end applications.
Guide and mentor cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, and project managers, during project execution.
Oversee the implementation and delivery of GenAI solutions, ensuring technical quality, alignment with business goals, and timely execution.
Collaborate with Andela’s internal solution architects, engineers, and delivery managers to brainstorm solution ideas and co-develop tailored proposals.
Translate client needs into actionable solution concepts, including defining the architecture, data strategy, model selection, and tooling.
Create and own project documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), implementation roadmaps, and delivery strategies.
Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, progress updates, and stakeholder alignment.
Stay current with advancements in GenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and related AI technologies.
Contribute thought leadership and provide guidance on ethical and practical GenAI adoption.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Generative AI technologies, including LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA) and multimodal models.
Proven experience in gathering technical requirements and creating AI-driven solution proposals or architecture designs.
Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy GenAI solutions using Python and frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based ML/AI services (e.g., AWS Sagemaker, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI).
Experience leading technical teams, managing workloads, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring project accountability.
Solid grasp of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, agentic GenAI, and deployment patterns for LLMs.
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior executives.
Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of maintaining alignment and satisfaction across business and technical roles.
Prior consulting experience or experience working with external clients is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of MLOps, data governance, and AI ethics is a plus.
