As a Gameplay Engineering Senior Lead, you will oversee the development of systems and content workflows that powers the game - enabling amazing action feel and compelling team-based strategy. Most importantly, you will work with a fun, dedicated, and passionate cross-discipline team devoted to turning a creative dream into a new franchise at PlayStation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly manage and lead engineers working across the game, providing support, technical mentorship, constructive feedback, and career development coaching
- Collaborate daily with a cross-disciplinary team to plan, prioritize, build, and ship amazing new experiences
- Communicate technical information effectively and concisely across the team, with the ability to summarize complex topics and achieve alignment across multiple teams
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to communicate with customers of different technical and non-technical backgrounds to help them navigate technology and achieve their goals
- Experience leading (direct management, mentoring, or guiding) 4+ engineers
- Experience building real-time action multiplayer gameplay systems
- Ability to write, debug, and maintain code in C++
- Experience with development using the Unreal Engine
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Experience with development on a variety of platforms (ex. PC, console)
- Experience with “games as a service” development

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
